Q: Could I have your opinion on RING, as a means of holding some telcos but with a diversified approach. My main objective is dividend income in what I hope would be a somewhat stable industry (overall at least) in the event of a correction. Does RING use any leverage/options? If you prefer an individual CDN company, which would it be and why.
Thank-you
Q: Hello 5i, I am watching BNN today Nov 11/25 and they only advertise Oil and Natural Gas prices that are not what Canadian producers get for there products sent to the US.
Is there a link to a web site that compares the differences on both commodities on a daily bases. WTI 61.02 WCS ? Natural Gas 4.56 Canadian Producers ?
Could you also indicate what the difference was on Nov 11/25 for both.

Q: I "used to believe" that TFSA was an indication to buy "excellent " growth stocks with strong potential..The problem is that, if only 1-2 of those drops significantly ,they could easily annihilate all other gains ! It appears to me that selling stocks in a TFSA when they double or more, and selling stocks that keep going down (with 10-15 % loss) ,in order to balance the portfolio,is quite helpful. Your feedback or suggestion shall be appreciated.
Q: Good day to all, SONDER went bankrupt over the weekend so thank you for helping me dodge that bullet!
On another note, when you issue a recommendation to "Buy/Sell/Hold" or when evaluating a company, what is your general timeline for investment?
Or is your report card grade more of a present and general evaluation of a company. The evaluations appear to me to be on point and detailed enough for my limited knowledge.
My investment psyche tries to be "buy and hold and enjoy dividends and growth" but everyone has their own timeline and strategies (or "strat" as my teens say)
Q: How do you feel about this laddered preferred etf as a stable income provider mixed in with some growth stocks such as (CSU, TOU, EQB, Shop and TRP) for a retiree, in this falling interest rate environment?
Could you come up with a list of « sleep at night » ETFs, with a 5-10 years horizon, ranking them from best to lowest potential growth and from highest to lowest risk ?
Please deduct as many credits as you see fit.
Gratefully,
Q: I am interested in your take on XAUT tokenized gold. Always on the lookout for the the next investment idea. Second question is winners and losers in the Carney shell game. Appreciate your input as always!
Q: Today Northland Power sank by 27% and the dividend was cut by 40%. A couple of years ago Algonquin Power cut their dividend twice.
Both companies are in the renewable energy sector.
Another company that is involved in the renewable energy sector is BEP.UN.
What is your opinion about the prospects of BEP.UN going forward ? Is this company facing any risks like those faced by NIP.UN and AQN ?
Would you add or hold the shares of BEP.UN at these levels ?
