Q: I see a news release that DND has been granted the option to extend the buyback period but that they do not anticipate doing so. I read that as a push to get more shares tendered (as it implies they don't have enough which would put the pricing at the higher end of the range) - is it something or nothing? Does it imply apathy to the offer because people are holding or do you see another view?

Q: Could you please evaluate Heo metrics and your outlook for a 2 to 3 year hold? Thank you.
Q: Good morning!
I am looking for what I assume would possibly be an ETF for dividend payers that someone who is not into equity buying/selling could buy and hold in relative safety, with either a distribution paid or (if dividends not paid out directly) would appreciate accordingly and then be periodically sold to have a steady income. I am contrasting this with annuities, or active portfolio management, but am open to any other suggestions you might have.
Thanks!
Paul K

Q: Hello 5i, I am thinking of buying Granite Real State Investment Trust. Before I do so I would like your opinion on the company's debt compared to other major Canadian REITs? I am somewhat concerned about the following excerpt from the company profile "Granite derives nearly all of its revenue in the form of rental income from its properties. The company's largest tenant is Magna International, an automotive parts and systems manufacturer, which accounts for the majority of Granite's lease income." This is as if most of their income depends on Magna only, is that a concern to you? Thank you

Q: I would appreciate getting your five recommendation each for US and CAD markets of companies with growing dividends for at least for the last five years with current dividend above 3% that also have growth.
Q: In light of the recent acquisition from Spartan Delta how would you now rate CPG. Is it a buy at these levels?
Q: I am missing something from your recent commentary on SentinelOne earnings. My take from the summary of their published earnings and prospects for '24 is that they took a huge hit in non GAAP operating earnings margins, which are expected to decline further though more modestly in '24, as well as a major reduction in growth rates in comparison to their growth rate for '23. Is this correct? The price hit for their equity is substantial.

Q: Hello Peter and team,
Mr. Kim Bolton who has my respect as a guest on BNN, suggested yesterday that one may want to take some profits off NVDA and re-direct the cash to AMD/ADI. Not sure if he said TSM in the same Q&A or added later. I am of course paraphrasing his response. Any opinions on these companies or comments about such a strategy? Do these companies pass your writing covered call approach?

Q: Good morning Team,
How much debt do you think Converge is taking on to fund the NCIB. Is there anyway that FCF is funding this?
What are your thoughts on not seeing Maine or Bernard jump in, put their money where their mouth is and buy?
Is it time to take the 55% loss and move on?
