Q: You cannot watch any American tv without seeing a goodrx ad. I bought a small position on its first day. Is it too early for 5i to form an opinion.

Q: Hi, do you have any comment on this small cap company? thanks.
Q: I am going to sell TD Bank in a cash account for capital gains to be used against capital losses earlier this year. I could buy it back immediately or purchase something else. I am thinking of PPL. Which would you pick for reasonably safe total return over the next 2 years?
What Cdn non-tech stock would you pick for best reasonably safe total return over two years?

Q: I am interested in buying this for an income holding but don't find any info on this particular issue.
Is it trading at a fair price here and what happens when interest goes below 1%?
Where can I find out when the rate is reset and at what rate.
Is there a recall date?
Thank you for your tremendous service.

Q: Just a question about the conversion, and the cost basis of my units. At the end of August, the value shown on my statements agreed to my records. Say it was $100. When I checked today, the cost value is shown at $50. Can you easily answer why the cost would be impacted? Perhaps a problem with my broker? I don't know much (read nothing) about Income Trusts. Thanks.
Q: LRN stock price just keep falling, is there a concern ? Thanks a lot.
Q: Looking to buy one of these, which would you select. Than-you.
Q: Peter,
Do you have an opinion / information on Tortoise (NYSE- SHLL) and the upcoming merger with Hyllion.
Thanks
Paul

Q: Approximately how many years do you think ENB and TC energy are safe investments due to more electric autos and environmental issues?
Q: Currently considering these for a long term hold. What are your recommendations?
Q: I recently purchased BIPC in my non registered account anticipating a dividend. I checked my transactions on this account last night and to my surprise I found that it paid interest. Can you help me clarify on what is correct.
Q: Thanks for the recent update, I look forward to your monthly emails.
With respect to point two about locking in some profits, I've often wondered how this works for institutions. Would they actually sell their portfolio and go to cash for the remainder of the year? Do most mutual funds not have to be mostly in the market thus having only a small cash position? I suppose you're referencing other major institutions like pension funds, hedge funds, etc.? Are they more flexible in how much cash they can hold?
Personally I'm tempted to sell to lock in my 2020 gains which have been my best ever (lots of great 5i picks, thanks) but then the question of when to get back in always confounds me. I'm all registered accounts to so no loss to write off and no gains to worry about at tax season.
Say one did want to lock in some gains what would you suggest? Selling high fliers, only to potentially miss some more gains? Sell the lagards? Sell the high risk? Balanced?

Q: Sorry for asking about two US companies but I've noticed you're bullish on VEEV and recently SLP showed up in one of your responses.
Are these not similar companies? Briefly, what differentiates therm, and do you have a preference? Would you own both?
