2. What has bumped the stock in the last week?
3. I think I may wait for another pullback but I think you are favorable as a buyer for this asset.
Thanks

Q: Your thoughts on DJT's ask that the Keystone XL be built "now".
Q: I own both companies in my TFSA. If I was to re-invest the dividends in one of them, which one would you prefer?
Thanks Ken
Thanks Ken
Q: Interested in your thoughts on the potential US Tariff impact on SOBO and other pipelines.
Given the lack of access to alternative markets for WCSB crude/liquids ,the fact that volumes are contracted for the long term and the demand from US refiners for what is already discounted feedstock - I would think that the impact would be small in the short term. Realized price for product may be further discounted leading to a drilling/supply response and ultimately lower volumes but with a 10% tariff this is probably not a significant factor in the short/medium term. Your thoughts??
Thanks

Q: Do you think South Bow is potential takeover target? Their pipeline would seem to be a desirable asset for another pipeline company, Private Equity or Infrastructure name like Brookfield Infrastructure. Would their higher debt be a deterrent at this point? South Bow reminds me somewhat of Inter Pipeline but perhaps more desirable since their pipeline extends from Canada into the USA. Looking forward to your response. Many thanks.

Q: Good morning,
I recently became aware that SOBO's dividends can be paid in US$.
Q1. Do you consider it a good idea to journal SOBO.CA holdings in a CDN$ Non Registered account to a US$ Non Registered account so that US$ can be generated in a similar manner as journaling BN shares from my CND$ Non Registered account to my US$ Non Registered account for the purpose of generating US$.
Q2. Do you see any negative aspect or tax implication with this strategy?
Thank you for your thoughts on this and I'll await your response.
Francesco

Am I missing something here. Appreciate all you excellent support.

Q: HI, I own several CDN Utilities, AQN, SOBO, PPL, BEPC, BIPC, EMA, ENB, FTS, TRP. Trying to reduce # of CDN Utilities I own. I am thinking of selling AQN, SOBO, BEPC, and BIPC. What is your opinion of selling these and adding PPL, and EMA. What is your opinion on CDN Utility ETF instead. Can you suggest CDN Util ETF for a reasonable return and potential for growth. Welcome if you have any other suggestion. Thanks
Q: So I’m sitting here day dreaming about SOBO. I understand Keystone XL is now their “ asset “ and wondering about possible scenarios under Trump. If he again OK’s it , would the stock move and in what direction, will it get built, is it still needed , would it be doable for this size company , etc ? Needing to add to my list of high dividend stocks, SOBO interests me and wonder what this sizeable project would have on the stock. Thanks.Derek
Q: I would like to sell SPB. I have a small position in SOBO so wondered if this is a good replacement for SPB ? This is for a RRSP account .
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks!
Q: Hi Guys
I hold AltaGas and was thinking of swapping for South Bow. Thinking better dividend at a minimum. What are your thought on this switch for a long term hold. Which do you think will have teh better overall return 5 years out?
Much thanks
Stuart

Q: Good morning,
About a month ago I took a tax-loss sale on BCE. Was a ~ 2% weighting. My 30 day "waiting period" is up this Friday, and now I am undecided as to buy it back, initiate a 2% position in SOBO, or do 1% BCE and 1% SOBO. I know you don't love to comment on portfolio weightings, but if you were me, what would you do?
Thanks as always.

Q: Looking at SOBO to replace BCE which am selling ( for tax loss ). Suppose Trump restarts the Keystone XL permit process. Would SOBO be interested and what would be the effect on the stock do you think.? Thanks. Derek.
Q: Why big price drop today?
Q: Which do you feel will provide the biggest long term gains including dividend and capital gains?
