Q: Hello, My loss on these stocks varies from 25% to 65%.. As I get ready for year end losses, which ones may have some life? and which ones to sell.

Q: I have significant tax losses on NFI and am considering selling to use those losses. On the other hand if we go into recession that should help with the supply issues NFI is facing and they have a large book of orders from government bodies who should be able to pay for their orders. Do you see NFI as overvalued at this time in which case I will sell or undervalued and I should hold on in case we enter recession? Thanks for your input.

Q: Good morning, 5i team!

NFI didn't perform well in our portfolio in the last 2 years. Your thought on replacing it with one of these 2: Lion Electric or Rivian. Or just get out and put in Magna or Linamar instead for auto parts instead. Thank you!

Q: My question is about these two dogs. Wondering if it is best to cut losses and move on after holding for some time. Can either of these companies fix issues and show growth down the road? How many years can a loss be carried forward? Also do you think Lifeworks will cut dividend?

Q: Hello 5i Team,
In the past month alone NFI has received contracts for almost 600 buses (hybrid/electric) according to the headlines on seeking alpha. Do these contracts actually translate into bus sales?

What is keeping this company down over years? Is it that the dept is to high for the market or that the acquisitions simply have not panned out?

Q: Looking at some Canadian companies that are involved in various aspects of consumer activity such as retail, investing, borrowing. Please rate each of the following on a scale of 1-10 for desirability for a 5+ year hold in a well diversified portfolio. I have Spark in my portfolio.
I have taken my initial investment off the table when the stock went up to 2.50
it has now dropped by 50 % since its high ,
Why the sudden and sharp drop in the stock

re bus sector , I have all 3 stocks in my portfolio , if i want to narrow down to one ,which would you recommend . is there any other bus stock that you would suggest instead of the current 3 that i hold

Q: Hi everybody,
I know you don’t trust much analysts’ price target, but I’m still trying to get a picture for NFI.

Your Market Data shows recommandations from only 3 analysts 1Buy/1Hold/1Sell. TipRanks have 7 (4B,2H,1S), Yahoo Finance shows 8 analysts (6 Buy in November), BMO Investorline gives at least 6 recent price targets (mostly cuts). This is a bit frustrating… How often are the Market Data recommandations updated ? Can we rely on up to date Key Ratios?
