Q: DO YOU EXPECT A LOT MORE FROM CSX FROM THE HUNTER COST CUTTING PLAN BOTH IN TERMS OF EFFIENCENY AND ALSO THE STOCK PRICE? YOUR GENERAL THOUGHTS ON CSX WOULD ALSO BE APPRECIATED. WE HAVE TRIMMED TWICE BUT STILL HAVE A SIGNIFICANT STAKE. THANK YOU
1) As an investor, is there any benefit to holding BRK.A vs BRK.B
2) Would holding BRK.B provide diversification? I assume BRK.B owns underlying stock such American Express, Coke, Wells Fargo etc ?
3) What is the advantage or disadvantage of holding BRK.B vs a S&P 500 ETF?
Q: I would appreciate any comments on earnings. I read it as a small miss. Management obviously has some confidence in that they increased the dividend. Would you still hold as a core industrial in a US growth portfolio? My other US industrial is UTX.
Q: On the US side of my portfolio I am going to be cautious about what I add. I will get an opinion from you before making a purchase. My last recent purchase which I watched for quite some time (Netflix), made the purchase, and 2 days later it was down $75.00 per share and it does not seem to be making a recovery. I am thinking of selling Netflix and along with some US cash I have, and I will list some US stocks that look good to me. APO, NOW, ISRG, OKTA, BIIB and SFTBY. Out of these, which ones would you purchase? Thanks again, Dennis
Q: It has been awhile since anyone asked about this company. What do you see in this company for at least a five year hold, a little diversification into Europe and expected earnings in the next year or two?
Thanks so much!
Q: Hi,
What are your thoughts on Merck as an investment, the company’s potential growth and risk? My interest started in Merck because of their immunotherapy drug... Keytruda. Keytruda has eliminated some of my mom’s melanoma tumors and shrinking cancer in two other areas of her body. Other melanoma patients are seeing positive results. Melanoma cannot be treated with chemo. This drug is now being tried on some liver cancers and was initially developed for some types of lung cancer. I really don’t know a lot about this company and would like your opinion.
Thanks,
Kerri
