Q: A recent article in the Globe postulated that M & A activity in the Canadian tech sector could increase in 2025. Some of the reasons given were the delayed implementation of the increase in capital gains taxation, the low Canadian dollar and tariffs.

Are there tech companies you would view as potential take-over targets in 2025?

Q: Hello 5i Team,

What are your thoughts on Arista networks from here? AI demand is still strong and all those GPU's have to be networked. NVDA networking division was actually flat (did not grow) so you would assume there is other networking equipment being used.

If you like it would you accumulate at these prices or lower?

Q: Hi,

SMCI submitted 10K before the deadline. The company had provided forward guidance. What is the probability they wood goof up the next few quarters - specially when coming back from the brink.
Given its current valuation, would you trust the management and invest for the next few quarters? If yes, would you consider a full position or even going overweight?

Q: Hi, I have to wonder, given today's drop in VRT's price if it is headed in the same direction as others following long term downward price pressure such as LSPD, AQN, SMCI, etc. Initially I thought the drop after DeepSeek was overdone, but now I am thinking I've missed something else. I understand it did not have great earnings recently - is it time to move on, vs wait to see how much lower it may go? Or is today's drop a result of outside forces, such as options expiration? Thank you for your thoughts and advice.
