Q: I was just about to buy CSU when I noticed a good report and it shot up 12%! Is it too late? I'm looking for two long term holds, minimal volatility, for a 2.5 % position each. What two do you like and why?

Q: Hello:

I am interested in your opinion on when to take profits. In this case I am looking at Absolute, but it could be another stock at another time.

I am up about 50%. That’s a tidy gain. The dividend is nice, but I can get that elsewhere. Removing tax considerations from this question, how would you make this decision?

Q: My sons who are in their 20's currently hold TXF in their TFSA's. Do you think OTEX would be a better fit in a TFSA as they will not need these funds for a very long period.

Q: Hi 5iR TEam, I am struggling a bit with the concept of having a diversified portfolio, versus holding the highest quality stocks regardless of their sector. Ok, as a practical example I already own GIB and KXS and would like to add ENGH. The result for my portfolio would mean I'm overweight in the Technology sector. I have been overweight the Financial Services (Banks) for years and never regretted it. Is there an argument to be made for over weighting a sector when you can select high quality stocks and can't find that same quality stock by diversifying?
Lastly, am I correct in assuming that ENGH, GIB, and KXS are some of the best IT companies trading on the TSX.

Q: Hi Team,
I have been averaging up on Google since 2013 and I am currently up 90% and it now accounts for about 8% (in C dollar) of my total portfolio. I am just wondering if I should take some money of the table (my risk tolerance level is above average). Your thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

Q: Has there been insiders buying lately?
The results have been excellent the last 4 quarters. Where do you see the sp in a couple of years if this hasn't been taken out.
How is the recent large contract gonna affect the bottom line?

Q: I have held pho for about a year and thinking of selling pho and buying nvda as they are down the same thus increasing the quality of my semi conductor exposure. Also I have made a lot of money from csu and kxs and have sold them and bought a small exposure to msft for the same reason. Does this make sense to you....thanks for the great service

Q: I have CSU, KXS, CSCO, QCOM + PHO (small position) IT companies that make 10% of my portfolio. I am planning to increase the IT portion to 15-20% by adding 2-3 more IT companies. Is it OK to increase the IT portion now or wait? Which one should I add, delete or swap (both US and CAN companies)? Can you please rank the above-mentioned companies? I am looking for good companies with top management but not risky small cap companies.

Q: I would like your opinion on these tech stocks for my tfsa. tech stocks were suggested by you in my last question - "For some growth, one could add tech names (US or Canadian), if applicable. We note that less than five years is still considered relatively short-term, so we would keep things on the lower risk profile in general."

Q: Any insight with management at SYZ? I can not find any reason behind the precipice drop over the last few days. I totally got it wrong and bought recently only to watch it fall off a cliff. I am out now too wild a ride for me. I am questioning whether your small caps are worth holding in these markets, no one gets them all right but this is getting painful.
Still listening but wondering if some of your response should take what seems to be a terrible space for cdn small caps into consideration and few more get out while can responses would be in order. lol ..sort of...rant is over.
