Q: Hi Peter,
How much exposure do each of these have to the lack of Alberta Pipelines issue ? What order would you initiate new postions in these ?
Thank you.
Q: This title covers oil transport/storage infrastructure
thus not affected by WTI acc to promoters since its revenue is from transporting fuel. Dividends 8-10%. Despite transporting/storing only it suffers greatly from WTI price fluctuation. Half of 27% loss is recovered from dividends, any insight in this MLPA structure??

Q: I hold ENB and recently read that the state of Minnesota has appealed the approval of ENB's line 3. What are your thoughts on this ? Is the appeal likely to be successful? I am thinking that if the appeal was successful that the impact to ENB stock would be huge.
Q: I am wondering about the sector allocation of these two SU and PKI. Given that they are both vertically integrated could they each be split between energy producers and consumer discretionary some how. It will create some room in the energy sector for a couple of more companies like WCP and VET. If SU and PKI could be split what would the split be on each one.
Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I am a common share holder. I have been away for awhile. Could you please explain what in happening to TDG with this takeover. What will happen to my shares? Thank you!

Q: I am interested in energy infrastructure ETF, preferably, trading in the US. This would include any energy pipeline ETF. The two I know are MLPX and AMLP. Any preference between these two ? Any others that you recommend in this space?
Q: With fintech companies possibly disrupting banking, is there an ETF that could capture the upside? I know SQ, VB and others are extremely volatile, and one or more will likely win big, but I don't have to bet on a single company.
Q: Considering selling vermilion to capture the tax loss and I realize today is the last day. If I was to sell it today would I still qualify for the debit and that was just declared? In other words is it the sell date or the settlement date what qualifies for ownership of the stock for dividend purposes.
Q: WTO is under $50 US and were in tax loss season. Now that blood is in the streets I'd like to add some energy names to a non- registered income portfolio. I'm looking for names that have SECURE dividends above 5% and liquidity as well as some growth prospects. Can you provide me with your 3 top picks in this space?. I should mention I already own ENB.
Thank You.
Q: Thanks for the response to my MEG question. I have some MEG stock, and am unsure how to proceed given that it is trading at a $13 discount to the offer. Is it likely that the discount will narrow as the Jan 16 date approaches? Suggestions on what to do would be most welcome. Thanks for your always good advice. Roland
Q: Can you comment on today's release about debt. Is this the cause of the upswing in the price? What does it mean going forward. I assume it's good news or else the price wouldn't be up on a down day.
A BNN contributor recently said: "Natural gas will become the best performing commodity and this is clearly being seen by the sharp rise the NYMEX natural gas, as low inventories and colder winter weather affect demand."
Do you agree with this assessment, and if so, what stock(s) do you recommend to take advantage of this trend? Our only energy holdings are ENB and PKI.
Q: Can you comment on why Onex has been so terrible in terms of this years performance.....and what you think it's prospects for 2019 are? Also is Vermillion dividend safe in your view?
Q: I just sold my final energy stock last week for tax-loss, VET, so I'm out of the sector right now and wonder if it's a good time to reenter. I sold these two stocks in the summer, and see they are way down from where I sold. Are they still considered good companies, and do you think there is some growth in the stocks in 2019? Are the dividends considered secure? Thanks!
