Q: Not to question your decision on ADW but my situation is as follows. If I sell ADW the capital gains would be such that an old boy like me would get totally clawed back on CPP not to mention the tax burden. I understand you had a good run with ADW and if the share price dropped in the next few months it would not be good for the Income Portfolio. You mentioned that for an Income Portfolio the dividend didn't justify the holding yet you bought ADW into the portfolio several months ago for the same dividend. Perhaps it should have gone into another portfolio. At any rate the question is this: Is there a different approach based on age and capital value when it comes to planning. Should I sell and take the CPP hit regardless or should I look at this in a different light? Thanks again for your valuable service. Perhaps you should include an "old boy section" for guys like me (LOL) Cheers

Q: Following your balanced equity portfolio. I have read some questions you answered recently. Besides SIS, Premium Brands and KXS which other 2 or 3 equities do you expect higher returns in the next couple years. Thank you as always for your advice. Steve

Q: Today Intrinsyc press released another sizable order. They have had a steady flow of news releases the last 8 weeks on services and production wins. The stock seems range bound over this period despite its trades rather cheaply on trailing basis for Company that is showing very strong revenue and profit growth. I know the market cap is only $45M but many other tech stocks, same size, trade at much higher multiples and they have inferior balance sheets compared to ITC. Any insight or is ITC is stock that is ready to be re-rated much higher in coming months?

Q: Hi,

Would you be a buyer of ABT now, or would it be more prudent to wait until after their next earnings release, which I believe Feb 6?

Thanks,Brad

Q: Does Mattel's financial results release offer any insight into Spin Master Toys? Mattel says they were impacted by a significant US toy category slowdown. How would one know if these poor results were specific to a company or an industry? Spin Master is a long term hold regardless as I have confidence with their strategy, especially using evergreen entertainment properties as a setup to sell children toys and branded products. I don't think Mattel has developed this strength.
