Q: Would you buy these stocks for a 5 year hold in a TFSA? Or is it still too risky? Wait for oil to stabilize?
Thank you
Thank you
Q: Thank you for your great service. you now have the income portfolio for conservative investors Do you have some names that you would recommend for the higher risk investor. I have done well with your advice so far and would like to "gamble" with 1 or 2% of my portfolio.
Again thanks for all you and staff do.

Q: Hello, every one, Could you please help me to understand the current earning report of GIB.A, in which earnings expanded, but revenue was slightly shy of expectations. Since this is a growth stock, I thought missing revenue estimates would have negative impact on it. But the stock rose upon earning release. Your thoughts please. In addition, what is your view of this company? Also the company's debt level is high, will they issue more shares to acquire other companies in the future, if yes, how will this affect the stock?
Thanks,
Lin

Q: Would be interested in your quick thoughts / summary on this stock.
Q: Dear 5i
What are your thoughts on KLS at this time ? Is it a good time to invest in this company and are they expecting good earnings growth over the next couple years ?
Also what sector is currently the strongest in the U.S. And what ETF would you recommend within that sector . Looking for high growth .
Thanks
Bill C.

Q: Could I have your thoughts on Element's increased outlook for 2015 announced today? Thanks.
Q: Any thoughts on OTC today after the disappointing earnings?
Q: Hello Peter,
Fairfax has been on a roll lately. The fundamentals are good from PE and ROE, but the technical now are over bought (RSI). Any reason why the stock continues upward? I do not see any news other than Fairfax india IPO and potential Blackberry takeover (as Fairfax owns 10% of the company). Any comments. Also, to de-risk my portfolio, if I am to put more money in Fairfax, is it better to add to FFH or use those proceeds to invest in FIH (Fairfax india ) once the IPO stables (as you had indicated in prior replies about potential of fee covering of 8% from brokers etc from IPO). I have seen your replies on Knight Therapeutics that is a sector and management bet. When it comes to companies like these, does one simply go on technical charts to buy and sell as there is not much in terms of fundamentals to base the buying decision (what price to pick it up at). Also, BioSyent has been referenced as the next potential Paladin Labs. If so, can you see a potential of Knight buying BioSyent? Thanks again and appreciate the detailed replies you provide.

Q: Hi guys,
I would like to start dipping my toe in any of these names, the only thing that is stopping me is that I am worried about valuation. I need some exposure to consumer staples/discretionary and healthcare however, I would not like to buy at high multiples if possible.
I would like to know if I should wait for a little pullback OR buy now and if there is a pullback add to a position. Could you comment on the future prospects on them if you can, it will help my decision.
Feel free to suggest any other names that might be a better substitute.
Thanks, keep up the great work, it truly helps alot !!!!

Q: Any reason you know for the precipitous drop in the PHM share price? Thank you.
Q: Peter and team:
Would you consider buying IT at these levels (including today's spike up)?
Of the forest group which stock would you recommend buying at current levels: WEF, Interfor or West Fraser? Or any other? Is there an ETF for this group?
Thank you for great feedback, SS

Q: According to this news, Intertain Group is in the process of selling off a significant portion of their assets for 1B. If their market cap is >500M and this goes through would this not cause their per share price to spike 100% or am I dreaming in a haze of confusion?

Q: Can you please provide your thoughts on this morning's news release on earnings? Thanks
Q: My college age Son had over a double in DHX (his only equity), with my advice he sold half, bought into Surge at $5.53. His account balance is now back to where he started. He's not happy with his advisor at the moment - hero to zero you could say. Should he hold Surge or take the loss, if the latter, any suggestions for a youngsters TSFA?
Q: Hello Peter &Co.:
I want to increase the tech sector of my Canadian stock portfolio. Right now it is at around 11%. I own just 2 stocks, CSU and DH. What is your next best pick for a solid tech company? A mix of stability and growth is what I'm after, nothing too risky. Thanks for the fantastic service. cheers

Q: What are your updated views on SNP? Would you be a buyer at current levels? Do you view the recent equity raise as a positive given the pro forma balance? Do you see the fact that Canacccord buying the deal on a bought deal as a plus and vote of confidence that demand was there for the stock?
Q: Would you recommend Terra Firma at it's current valuation? Stock looks cheap, but illiquid. Would you recommend buying shares?
Q: I noticed that Knight Therapeutics (GUD) is lending Synergy Strips Corp $6M. As part of this deal, Knight will receive 15% interest on the loan, and get a 10-year warrant to purchase 3.5 million shares of Synergy at $0.34 a share. Synergy shares are currently trading at $0.425
My potentially easy question is: what does Synergy get out of this besides the loan? Do they get any corporate knowledge from Knight? 15% interest and a 10 year warrant to buy shares at a (potentially significant) discount seems like a really bad deal for Synergy, and a fantastic deal for Knight. What am I missing here? Couldn't Synergy just go to a bank for a loan?
