Q: I’m interested in your thoughts on the effect a reversal of the US tariffs by the Supreme Court would have on the public markets.
Thank you for this great service.

Q: Hi team,
What’s your take on Turning point brands and the sector in general? Could the nicotine pouch business be as huge as some say? They reported this morning; the market seems to like the numbers .

Q: It appears Globalstar has not denied the rumours about selling itself to Starlink. So there must be some truth to the rumours. Presumably once Musk controls Globalstar he would cancel or buyout Globalstar’s contract with MDA leaving MDA with no business? I understand Apple owns 20% of Globalstar so they would have to agree to the Musk buyout. I can see Apple not wanting to be at Musk’s mercy but also not wanting to operate Globalstar’s business. Any idea what the future holds for MDA. I’m a shareholder.

Q: I have US stocks and CAD stocks but also want to keep a large portion of my portfolio in indexes. I have VFV and similar for trakcing S&p and have added VEQT in the last few years for world diversification. I have a small amount in XAW, but does it make sense to have more in XAW since i have a bunch of individual canadian stocks? or do you have a preference for canadians to own one of these over the other?

Q: What financial planning advice would you give, in general, to someone with a large RRSP in the years leading up to a RRIF conversion and commencement of OAS and CPP. With the OAS clawback starting at $93,454 until full claw back at $148,451, is it wise to fully deplete the RRSP to $0 before taking OAS to avoid the claw back? Or at least depleting it to a level of say under $500K so that minimum RRIF withdrawals will stay below the clawback threshold? Is there financial planning software available to DIY investors that you have used yourself or heard is good that can be used to to model some of these different scenarios in an attempt to minimise taxes and maximise the value of their after tax portfolio?

Q: I hold both of these industrials. EIF has done much better during my hold period plus I get a decent and seemingly secure dividend. CAE is one company that should get tailwinds from increased defence spending, sometime. I'm thinking of selling CAE and increasing EIF. No tax issues. Your thoughts, please?

Many thanks and BTW, I feel like 5i is a reliable source of information and guidance with your subscribers best interests up front

Q: This stock - CLS has gone crazy in the last year: FPE = 47, MS = FBV $322.70, TRI has a buy at this lofty FPE, and 15 analysts according to CIBC have price target for 2026 of $617.00. Who is right? At current price a full position for me would be 187 shs ( $90K). I see 5i still recommends a buy.

Q: Hello, KMB has come down 13% in the last 5 days because of the proposed merger with Kenvue. Is this an opportunity to buy? If so, should I wait a while for it to settle down some more? The big question is : is this going to end up like Bayer acquiring Monsanto and then facing a neverending stream of lawsuits? Thanks.
