Q: I have had these 3 utilities companies in my portfolio for some time .Their share value resilience and ongoing share price increases have been very beneficial for my portfolio. I am reluctant to trim them for adjustment of the portfolio utilities sector. These are also mostly " green energy " producers which have been in demand. In your view in what order would you trim these companies for portfolio sector adjustment ? Thanks for your opinion.

Q: I have no positions in renewable energy, my watchlist includes the 3 companies in question. Could you rate these 3, add a 4th if you you know of a stronger candidate in terms of balance sheet strength and growth prospects. I’m a long term, buy and hold investor.

Q: Hello,
I'm a looking to invest in dividend stocks. Currently I would like to increase my exposure to the Utilities sector. Given the current economic conditions, which of the above stocks are most at-risk of cutting or reducing their dividends? Also, of the above, are there any standouts that you prefer? I am also looking at AQN and FTS aswell as BEP.UN and BIP.UN.

Thank you

Q: The valuations on companies with a favourable ESG component are lofty at best. Do you see any in this sector that are still reasonably priced? A dividend would be preferable.
Thanks for your consideration.

Q: Seems like the renewable energy area has a future. Could get your top 6 stocks that you would purchase for growth and dividend? Which would be most affected if interest rates were to gradually rise? Thanks for the great service. Would like to stay in the cdn market, but a top us one or two would be appreciated.

Q: Ignoring taxes, cash requirements, sector allocation, on a straight-up basis, for a minimum one-year hold, which of the above-listed equities would it be prudent to currently sell, buy, or hold? Thank You

Q: I currently have AQN (2.5%), BEP (1.5%) and INE (1%) and would like to add a further 1.5% overall to the "green" utility sector of my portfolio. Do you feel that BLX would be a good addition?
If so, I am thinking of adding .5% to BEP (to bring it to 2%) and 1% to BLX and wanted to get your thoughts for a +/-5 year hold.
Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide the names of 5 or 6 companies which you think have potential for good growth but are still in relatively early stages of development and are still pretty much unknown to the investment world. I am looking for companies with manageable levels of debt or no debt at all. Sector and market cap are not a factor. Thank you.

Q: Hello 5i Team,
I currently hold in my TFSA both AQN and BLX. Judging that the market is running for safety and that I have a long time horizon, would you consider adding/switching to another utility such as CU(11x PE) or BEP. If not, any other companies tickle your fancy?

Thanks

Q: How many utilities are enough and where? I have AQN in TFSA and , BEP, BIP, FTS in cash account (along with BAM.A and BBU.UN - total Brookfield is 8.91%). My spreadsheet indicates I have 3% space left in utilities sector to add but your PA says I am over. Sold all of H (was largest utility holding) due to political risk of current chaotic provincial government. Looking at a replacement for H. Don't really need the income for living , looking more for safety and some growth. Looking for your view on how you would rank above prospects or should I add to existing, or stand pat?
