Q: My advisor is suggesting I buy a position in WPM - would you have an opinion if WPM is a better choice than FNV? He did not mention FNV as an option - just knowing they are both streaming companies which would you pick?

Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. (KL)

Americas Gold and Silver Corporation (USA)
Q: I hold shares in the above stocks, all down. Other than as a hedge to inflation is there any reason to hope for a turn around? In what order would you sell them?

Q: Good morning,
Thanks for your great service.
Today my question revolves around AU (gold) royalties and return of inflation - once the economy opens up & we start spending «en masse» our accumulated savings -.
I have read that royalties might be better than AU companies as they do not have the same cap ex as AU companies and they employ less human resources. I am assuming that they also have less debt on the balance sheet .
Questions:
Whether you prefer AU royalties vs AU etf or specific AU companies o even PHYS ?
Which royalty would you prefer ?
Would a precious metal royalty be a judicious addition to a portfolio ? Such as MMX, ALS, LIF ?
I am well diversified and have a substantial portfolio.
Deduct as many points as you see fit.
Best Regards,
Elaine

Q: With gold and silver doing very well, why is Franco so far off its highs? Is there something else going on at FNV? Thanks.
Q: What gold stock or etf would you buy as an inflation hedge
Thanks Bob
Thanks Bob
Q: What do you think about platinum? It seems more tied to the economy than something like gold which is more inflation hedging... what is the "case" for platinum and do you see it worth owning?
Also, what would be your favourite 2 names to get exposure/why?

Q: In my previous question about Earth Alive Clean Technology you mentioned the % of insider and institutional holding, wouldn’t you view that as a positive , especially for such a small company? The market for the sectors they’re in is very large, with the above companies I’ve referenced, if Earth Alive Clean can grab an increase in market share with their new products it could transformational for them , no?

Q: Hi!
Just wondering if you still like gold and if so why, and should precious metals always be held as a certain percentage in one's portfolio even if it is trending lower. What percentage would you want to see in precious metals? Would you ever put a stop loss on something like FNV or just hold in your portfolio forever, watch it go down and hopefully back up one day?

Thanks, Stan

Q: Fnv represents about 4 to 5 % of my portfolio.
Do you think it is a good idea to gradually switch 1/ 2 of Fnv into Mstr over the next 12 months to take advantage of the fluctuating prices in the Bitcoin market?

Q: Good morning, as a relatively young retired investor I'm still leaning vs growth. As a portfolio year end adjustment I would like to hike my exposure to materials by approx 1%. Having said that my gold exposure has suffered and now sits at less that 3%. I own LUN at 2%. Where would you add ? In real estate I have a 2% in DIR and 1% in TCN.. Would like to add to maybe 5% of portfolio. Dividends are welcome but not a necessity since I can buy in either my Cash or in my RIFF account. New suggestions are welcome since your expertise gave me handsome results since I've subscribed to your services.
Stay safe,
Yves

Q: The vaccine news and rollout seem to be driving the price of gold down. What is your longer term view of gold and Kirkland Lake?
Thank you for your help!

Q: If I didn’t have gold exposure, what would you recommend between FNV and MX? Is it important to have gold or would MX be a better option?
Thanks.
Thanks.
