I just wanted to pass on information to anyone that uses BMO Investorline as a platform. Starting today they have 80 ETF's where there will be zero commission on buying and selling. Here is the list of the 80 ETF's I think this is a great way to slowly add small positions commission free especially for the kids RESP.
Actually I do have a few questions now come to think of it. Do you think this is a good idea and if you were to pick 3-5 ETFS from this list and somewhat try to be diversified which ones would it be? If you can give me 3 to 5 from the list feel free to take credits per ETF you find.
Q: bought into this stock today for a 6 mth hold or longer if growth continues... seems management has been able to execute, has momentum, but your opinion would be appreciated
Q: I am considering purchasing BEP-UN. I already own AQN and BIP-UN. I have noticed that most of these renewable stocks have pulled back somewhat and I’m wondering if this would be a good time to pick up a renewable stock such as BEP-UN. what are your thoughts? Do you think that there might be one or two other better choices for renewables? Also this is for a TFSA so should I consider BEP instead?
Thank you for your always appreciated wisdom.
John
Q: I would like to buy shares in a restaurant company that stands to profit from the removal or reduction in Covid restrictions. I intend to buy this in a TFSA and hold it for a year or longer. How would you rank these companies in terms of expected overall return? Or could you recommend another company that might do better than any of these?
I saw a recent interview with Mark Bunting and Jessie Gamble (DKAM Investments) whereby Jessie was highlighting Vitalhub, Topicus and NeoGames. I have followed Jason from DKAM for years and did well by him.
There are already Q&A on the first 2 stocks but nothing on NeoGames.
Can you elaborate a bit more on NeoGames and whether it might be considered investable? I know they have a relationship with Pollard Banknote but not sure about their finance metrics, management credibility, ROE/ROI, competitive advantage, etc.
Can you also pls add this stock to your database as I tried to pull it up but it could not be found.
I currently have units of FCOM and QQC.F in my portfolio. Given that their holdings and performance are reasonably similar, should I consider to get rid of one of them and move the funds into the other?
