Q: Hi 5i,
Can your recommend 5 good top Canadian dividend stocks that might be good buys today for a non-registered account (BAM in RRSP) 7+ years hold. I do follow and own most of the income portfolio picks; maybe there are a few that are stronger buy's. I have been watching the tax loss picks but not interested in energy.

Q: What is 5i thoughts about Avante Logixx's Q2 results? The market cap of this Company seems totally out of sync with the reality of its annual revenue base run rate and growth over $90 million which is largely predictable? Also management and director ownership position is high and growing.

Q: I intend to increase the "very safe part" of my portfolios with fixed income ETFs, is a mix of corporate and government bond ETF a good choice with this objective or any other suggestion ? I suppose that longer term bond ETF would be more risky if rates do increase ?

Q: You recently responded to a question regarding Lightspeed: "We don't typically get scared off by stock strength, and that would be the case today. We might do a partial position as it is not going to be a one way up move for this stock."

My question is: Given your theoretical perspective of NOT averaging down, what would be the point of buying an initial partial position? It seems to me that you may as well just purchase your whole position right at the start rather than holding back for a later purchase (always at a higher price, because you don't average down).

Am I missing something? Could you elaborate and clarify please.

Q: Hi, current in my portfolio of 13 stocks + 2 ETF I have some good performing stocks that are > 5% position, TXN is 10.3%, DIS is 8.40%, EWZS is 9.37% and ADM is 8.54%. 25% of my holdings are in TECH (3 stocks + 1 etf). Do you feel comfortable with keeping these stocks with current positions or could I trim it to reduce risk ? I don't have many exposure to financials and consumer cyclical sectors. Can you suggest me growth stocks in these 2 sectors in US and CAN ? In healthcare I have only ABBV, I would like to have other good options here for growth and medium risk. I have +20 years horizon.

Q: Hi, what do you think about Mackenzie ETFs that use the TOBAM approach for maximum diversification? It seems to reduce weight of large cap companies like FAANG. Do you see potential versus traditional index based ETF? MER are about 0.5%.

Q: I understand that there are tax advantages to holding different types of equities in your TFSA, RRSP and open accounts. I would appreciate some information on the preferred types of equities to be held in the various accounts – US stocks, Canadian stocks, International stocks, dividend paying stocks, non-dividend paying stocks, ETFs, etc. Thank you for your information.
