Q: Could you give me the forward PE on these companies and which looks best currently if buying ? Thx

Q: Digital turbine or Rubicon. Which has the better balance sheet and of the two, which one is a better buy or the faster growth and safer.

Q: Suprised and sad to hear of BRP's plan to shut production of Evinrude outboards, they have been around since 1907 according to Google. Does the company report financial numbers in relation to this single product?

There are three companies that have issued preferred shares (Capstone Infrastructure, Co-operators General Insurance and Empire Life) which do not have publicly traded common shares.
As far as I can determine, the companies still file quarterly/annual financial statements on SEDAR, so I can review the financials of the underlying company.
Questions are:
1 - Why do these companies continue to maintain the listing of these preferred shares and given the low interest rates and low trading price, would it be possible that the companies could redeem the preferred shares or purchase them under a NCIB?
2 - Are there potential opportunities in purchasing these preferred shares at opportunistic prices (similar to mid March lows) if we have a general pull-back in the market. I understand that I could have a long hold period for these preferred shares as a result of low trading volume.
3 - Should I concentrate my effort in reviewing other preferred issues and simply ignore these three issues as "noise".

I've just sold SIA; had held since 2016 and about a 4% weighting. Looking for something in the Health Care space, hopefully with a good dividend. Would like something like PFE:US, but as its going into a TFSA, the withholding tax is not exactly enamoring. Any suggestions? Doesn't have to be Health Care, but should be a good stable dividend growth stock. The portfolio is well balanced at the present time.

Can you also provide some technical analysis for this company? For example: The amount of Debt its carrying, etc.

Q: SONA Sona Nanotechnology does not come up in your company database. This company is outside my normal purview but it has created a rapid detection test for COVID antibodies that has recently received some attention and its stock has increased dramatically. Can you tell me anything about this firm? Does the test have potential? Is its basic business producing gold nanorods (whatever they are) show promise? Is this an investible company? Any information would be helpful.

Q: I thought the 2nd q results issued today were pretty good and the share price has responded. This company appears to be undervalued and it even pays a small dividend. Based on my investing experience, I think the market will eventually notice this company or it will get bought out.

Debt is on the higher side but it's an interesting concept that is meeting changing lifestyle demands by providing access to high-quality, updated homes with valued features such as close proximity to jobs and access to good schools.

Q: The federal government has made resent announcements about buying PPE from China and USA and just today of a large contract to purchase masks from General Motors but nothing of purchasing the products from Canadian based Alpha Pro. The stock had a large jump end of Feb but in the short term is trading 12-14 range. Appears to have a solid balance sheet; and CFRA has a Strong Buy recommendation.
What is the teams opinion of APT?

Is the number of close to 90% payout ratio for BNS correct? Do loan loss provisions factor into that payout ratio? I would assume yes. If so, I would consider 90 percent not particularly alarming considering the current economic environment. This would cover delinquencies after the 6 month mark, correct?

Q: What is your opinion of this ETF for exposure to US pharma companies? Do you have other suggestions that would be comparable/better traded in CAD.
