Q: Looking for stocks based on the same business model as CSU AME and TDG - collection of entrepreneurial businesses in same sector growing organically and by acquisition, leaving managers and ulture intact [provide corporate support] with siognificant market share and pricing power. I think that describes these 3 companies. Please identify others and rank all with initial buy prices.

Q: Why is there such a valuation discrepancy between these two? SMCI requires NVDA chips to assemble their AI servers. NVDA growth seems to be being mirrored to a certain extent by SMCI, but the valuation gulf is huge. Aren't the two joined at the hip?

Q: July 14th I asked a question on pipe and bought a chunk of them for growth and the initiated dividend.
They have been bought by Strathcona Resources shortly after that!
I am a bit unsure of what will transpire now and would like your opinion of the upcoming meeting in September and what should I do? Sell now or hold?

Q: In response to a question from John this morning part of the reply was "we are buying/owning it at this level (for small cap high risk investors) and seeing how growth proceeds. Risk is high, but it is expected to be profitable in 2024."

Who is "we"? Are staff members now able to buy Canadian securities or does this information come from another source?

Q: Everyone, I will need to allocate funds to: CSU or LMN or TOI. I am already overweight in CSU ( I have held the stock since $110) and LMN. My preference is still CSU and I am not afraid of being over - overweight in the best stock in Canada).

Q: hi,
I am contemplating selling AQN. do you have any guess as to what sort of upside potential ( in percentage ) in the short term there may be for any actions (asset sales? restructuring? etc etc )spurred on by the "activist investor". so far, there has been nothing of significance in this regard, and the stock price reflects this, I think? if selling, I was thinking of adding to my BEPC to make close to a full position. do you still think BEPC has decent growth potential, and will weather any further rate hikes? is the balance sheet fine still?
