Q: ROOF recycles reshingles. They shred a shingle and produce 3 different products. The marketplace has a different cycle wherein they shred a shingle to produce road tar. Does ROOF have enough of a differentiator in its product line to sustain the viability of the company long term. Could you provide your opinion on this company's valuation and long term outlook for the next 3 - 5 years?
I have just become a new member; I read questions every day and I am very pleased with the information and website that you have developed. Thank you. I am a regular investor, but as a novice investor your guidance is invaluable.

Q: Would appreciate your advice for RRSP - 15 to 20 concentrated ETF/stocks quality plus growth Portfolio for 3-5 years hold.
Q: I’m looking into Almonty and trying to separate substance from narrative.
Tungsten is often framed as a U.S. critical mineral and the West is clearly dependent on China, but I’m wondering how much that actually translates into shareholder value. Sangdong in South Korea only restarted production in 2025, but it did operate historically and shut down mainly due to pricing and Chinese oversupply rather than geology.
Management also recently hired a former U.S. general into a senior operating role, which could signal an attempt to align with defense or strategic supply chains, though it’s unclear how tangible that is in practice.
What % of portfolio allocation would you recommend? And how do you view the future growth of this company?

Q: BHP's Jansen project in Saskatchewan has been getting lots of publicity lately. Slated to start producing in 2026 apparently it will ultimately produce something like 10% of world's potash. What are the implications for world price, and companies like CCO and NXE? Are they still buyable, or is it wait and see.?
Q: Any reason for the decline in price in GFL? Is this a buy or hold at this price?

Q: Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all at 5i!!!
Thanks to all for another amazing year of guidance from 5i!!! Everyone should be very proud of the job they do for the members!!!
This question is not time sensitive, so do not rush to answer at all.
Sometime in the New Year is just fine.
Question:
In the article "Inflation is Not Going Back" by Barry Ritzholz the information pertains very specifically to the u.s. The Canadian economy may be linked to, but is not the same as, the american. Therefore, what specifically Canadian interpretations or conclusions might one draw from that data, or equivalent Canadian data? Or, do we accept those conclusions as being equally applicable to Canada?
Just curious.....
Best Wishes to all at 5i Research!!
Cheers,
Mike
