Q: I initiated a position in both of these companies (<2%) at the beginning of January and am down 7% on NVDA and up 15% in SQ. Both have been under considerable down pressure recently. Would you continue to hold or liquidate at until the dust settles.

Q: Based on recent Q4 revenue warning and analysts downgrades, Nvidia's stock price continues to drop. How do you feel about it's prospects going forward and if positive, would this be a good time to buy or should I wait out the negative sentiment?

Raymond James analyst downgraded SQ to underperform. "In short, we believe organic growth peaked in 3Q18 and growth on the all-important [subscription] and services line will likely materially decelerate in 2Q19. What do you think about this opinion? Do you still think its a buy?

Q: Can you advise on level of ownership by AQN senior mgmnt of their stock?
They have preferred series A shares which pay higher dividend. Does AQN pay dividend only in USD. Is there dividend which is not eligible for the Canadian div tax credit? Am trying to figure out which series to buy. Many thx for the great services.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and team,

In a recent post in Stock Chase, Barry Schwartz was commenting on MFC and gave it a "Don't Buy" rating, for reasons similar to 5i's. He then goes on to say that "he avoids this sector".

Is there a compelling reason to own SLF (or any other insurer) in the Financial Sector?

Our sector holdings across all accounts are BNS at 2%, GSY at 3.8%, SLF at 2%, TD at 6%, and TRI at 0.9%.

Should we 'stay the course' and keep things as they are, or should changes be made?

As always, I really value your advice.

Q: I learned from TD Waterhouse that Enghouse did a 2 for 1 stock split in December. I discovered it when I saw, what I thought, was a drastic fall in the share value to $37. My question is: should I not have received some sort of advise about the stock split from the Company?? To my knowledge I did no receive any such advice. And, also can you give me some background about the split?? Thanks
