Q: These holdings represent 4.53 % of my consumer discretionary space and I would like to reduce by half. How would you rank them in order of what to keep.

Q: I just renewed my membership and in the past there is a section that tells you how many question "credits" you have left (unused carryover credits, plus new credits from the renewal). Where is that information located now? I searched all over and can't find it. Please help, thanks.

Q: I have read the Fed is continuing to pump 75 billion daily into the banking system to provide liquidity. Is this true and if so does this mean there could be a banking crisis on the horizon, and or,is there problems with the US economy . Is investing in real estate a safer alternative to the stock market at this point in time.

Q: I own TOU in a taxable account at a loss which I could use to offset gains this year. I have several choices at this point:-
1. Continue to hold,
2. Sell and buy back after 30 days.
3. Sell and wait until Dec. to buy back hoping to take advantage of others tax loss selling.
4. Sell and deploy money elsewhere.
With the current climate for energy stocks I would appreciate your guidance - if there is a change of government in Oct. will this likely affect the outlook for energy - if so how?

Q: CGX signed a big deal with AMC in the USA concerning their digital media platform: not many details given; however looks like a positive for CGX going forward. What can you tell us vis-a-vis revenue generation going forward.

Q: From the standpoint of a TRI shareholder, what would be more beneficial to TRI? If the LSEG bid for Refinitiv (TRI holds a 45% intertest) goes through, or if the Hong Kong group is successful and forces LSEG to dump its bid for Refintiv?

Q: Good morning guys
Often you will mention that a given stock may take for example 3 to 5 years to come back. What percentage gain are you allowing for? I like to shave some of my winners back to my original amount and then wait for a pullback to add again. Then I will do it all over again.

Q: Asked your opinion on this stock in June for my TFSA which you replied that it was very speculative but something to watch. Have not purchased it yet.
There are a lot of moving parts to the company and its stock with mergers and share consolidation several weeks ago.
I have 2 questions:: How has the stock behaved since mergers / consolidation.? ( I find it very difficult to determine). Has your opinion on this company changed? Thanks

Q: I see that isrg is up very strongly (3%) on very large volume, in a down market. I can't find any news. Do you have any information that might account for such a strong move in such a weak market?

Q: I am going to add Gold to my portfolio and am looking for your advice. I really like the Franco-Nevada model being that they have royalties and do not own mines, but it seems quite expensive? Thoughts on evaluations etc ? Depending on your thoughts I would like to add FNV and an actual gold miner. The ones I have listed have a larger market cap as I am not interested in too small of gold miners.

With all the things going on in the world right now, how concerned are you of a recession in the US that will drag Canada into it? The flags I am concerned about right now are: 10yr bull market, US balance sheet issues, repos, inverted yield curve, Fed policy (decreasing interest rates), trade war, global slowing. A lot of other countries hold US paper........ It makes you wonder how much more debt the US can endure and maintain a strong dollar.

We all know that there is going to be a correction at some point in the future....but something to me feels different about what is coming. Maybe I am just a paranoid investor...I have to quit watching the prepper shows!

Besides gold what is the best way to protect ourselves in the event that the US has a financial crisis that affects their dollar?

Q: Buffett has bought into Crown Castle. Is American Tower the better buy? Both are Reits which will benefit from 5G. Perhaps prudent to hold an equal weight in both for diversification?
