Q: I bought Asana on the advice of a professional who uses their software, and on their momentum and sector momentum. I'd like to buy Unity software (U) and was thinking to sell ASAN concomitantly. Is that a reasonable tradeoff or should I make room for both by trimming a Chip holding like Micron? I am not selling NVDA!

Q: Would you recommend to sell all scr.to shares and then buy again after the consolidation? I have been taking profits as it goes up and i am still at a 150% profit. When will the consolidation happen? Or what is the best option under these circumstances? Thanks
Q: You have not fallen out of love with PFE. Neither had I , but my feelings for it have been getting very wobbly lately. I have had PFE for many years and still show a loss. Shares continue to decline, now at a faster rate it seems. Although several PFE drugs are going off patent , but I understand PFE has a good pipeline of promising new drugs. Is this why you love it so? Nevertheless, I would now admit defeat were it not for your very positive view of the company, which has encouraged my already biased positive regard. I am however now running out of excuses for holding on to this otherwise great company. I would therefore love to know what YOU regard are the catalysts for PFE going forward. Those catalysts seems to be things I have missed completely.
Q: XERS. Big news ! Have a nice position. Add or partially sell ? Seems to have lots of other things. Stock is still cheap. Appreciate your comments. Thank you
Q: Hi, with the new agreement, which stock is the best to buy, at this time?
Q: These two companies have been recently dropping in price. Would this be a time to buy or should we wait for these two to bottom?
Q: I want to buy a gold stock or etf in USDollars, ie traded in the states, what would you recommend?
Thanks Bob
Thanks Bob
Q: What do you think of BIP's offer for IPL?
I note that the stock price of BIP is down about 20% since Dec 24. I also think that investors may be in part selling now to shy away from the fossil fuel industry. Yet the pipeline industry seems less impacted by the price of oil and the regulations barring new pipelines. Wouldn't this make the existing pipes more valuable.
So, does all this imply that this downdraft is a good buying opportunity for bip (which I already own a lot of)?

Q: A member reported difficulty purchasing OTC:VWDRY at TDW. I, too, have mostly given up on ordering over-the-phone. However, the member should be able to purchase VWDRY via WebBroker; indeed, when I enter the symbol in the order form textbox, WebBroker autocompletes the company name. The only obstacle is the omission of price data, but that's available at OTCMarkets (which, when I've asked, has been where TDW's phone brokers got their information, too.) Perhaps WebBroker added this symbol to its database only recently.
Q: ALREADY HAVE A 5 PERCENT HOLDING IN TELUS AND AM THINKING OF ADDING BCE TO THE SAME POSITION. IS THIS TO MUCH IN A 68 YEAR OLD RETIREES PORTFOLIO? MY THINKING IS REDUCING RISK IN CASE OF A SIZEABLE CORRECTION AS THE GAINS HAVE BEEN ADDING UP. IF YOU HAVE A COUPLE OF BETTER INCOME IDEAS IDEAS THAT WOULD BE APRRECIATED. THANKYOU
Q: Any idea how serious this chip shortage could get for F and GM and maybe some other companies? If it's a short term thing I'm thinking the market will look past it. Also are there any stocks that would benefit from the shortage? Thank you.

Q: Hello,
Any insight on this company? Management? I am wondering if you see any potential or if it’s too early? I am considering trimming Score and starting a position in Luck.

Q: What are your thoughts on the recent China deal? Any idea when funds will flow to the company from this deal?
Q: Please comment on the earnings released today. A turnaround situation. I like the proprietary part of their product and content demand is only growing. Good management.

Q: Good morning,
Thanks for your great service.
Today my question revolves around AU (gold) royalties and return of inflation - once the economy opens up & we start spending «en masse» our accumulated savings -.
I have read that royalties might be better than AU companies as they do not have the same cap ex as AU companies and they employ less human resources. I am assuming that they also have less debt on the balance sheet .
Questions:
Whether you prefer AU royalties vs AU etf or specific AU companies o even PHYS ?
Which royalty would you prefer ?
Would a precious metal royalty be a judicious addition to a portfolio ? Such as MMX, ALS, LIF ?
I am well diversified and have a substantial portfolio.
Deduct as many points as you see fit.
Best Regards,
Elaine

Q: Do we have an issue price for Topicus yet? My brokerage is showing a book cost of -$5.42. I don't see how one can have a negative book cost already.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Q: As a recovery play, and a 2 to 5 year horizon, specifically cruise lines, what is your opinion on CCL vs it's peers. If not CCL, what others would you recommend and why. CCL seems to be the biggest in terms of the number of sub groups under it. Is this size a negative though? Please provide some forward looking metrics to your recommended play
