Q: Hi Folks,
I have a question concerning what affect a recession would have on Tech stocks such as Apple, Microsoft, Google and even Constellation Software?
I am nibbling away at buying these now but I am wondering whether I should wait to finish buying my full position on each until the recession is over.

Q: I have a 1% position in DOO and was planning on increasing it. With the recent fall off in price, this seems like an opportunity. However, it is a bit surprising given good results! Anything to worry about ? Good time to add or wait ?
I own NVDA & Qcom - both close to 5%. I notice in a response to to a question about entry points for NVDA that you suggest around $200. Does that mean you expect a significant pullback in the near future? If so, would that apply to Qcom as well ? Would reducing both positions by half be appropriate ?

Q: Hi Team,
I am having a hard time deciding which of these 3 names to add new funds to today. ATZ, ATS, and CROX. Of these 3 which would be your best bet if aiming for top potential returns over the course of the next say 3-5yrs? Could you please rank in order of buying preference here along with any comments on the potential of each name you wish to add? Thanks

Q: I'm considering adding PPL to my portfolio and just went through their website. I found the mix of Oil vs Nat Gas vs LNG very easily...Oil = 40%, NG = 25%, LNG = 35%.

For comparative purposes, I went through TRP and ENB websites = not so easy to pull out the same data breakdown. Can you help...thanks...Steve

Q: ECN down 17% so far today . After reading your answer to Bradley I have a couple of questions . What does " Finance originations fell 25% " mean ? And what do you attribute the miss in earnings to ? And what is the insider ownership numbers ? . Would you approve of an investor wetting their toes based on the review ?

Q: HITI reported 1st quarter revenue larger than it's market cap, and it's improving profitability with what appears to be a scalable retail model. They seem to have a membership-based business model in place that will bleed out the excess competition. Thoughts on buying a small position for a 1-2 year hold?

Q: Some articles now speculate that the federal government will increase the capital gains tax rate in the budget. If this was to occur, how does the government typically announce such an increase? Typically, would the government announce the increase retroactively to the start of this calendar year, or would the increase start as of the date of the announcement in the federal budget? I want to determine, for my particular circumstances, whether it would make sense to sell some winners ahead of any possible increase in the tax rate.
