Q: I "imagine" this : Holding a certain % (20-30 % or more if necessary ) of covered call ETFs or covered calls ETFs with leverage , shall allow to retire 5% of cash (or more) every year, without having to sell stocks ;The only ,relatively minor consequence, would be some reduction of NAV among some ETFs. ..you feedback ? Thanks always

Q: Hi 5i
Electrovaya reported what appears to be good quarterly and yearly numbers yesterday.

May I please have your thoughts on the results and the company itself within the battery space?

Is this a good company to invest in in this space or do you feel that there are others that have better long term (3-5 years) prospects?

Q: Good morning 5i team.
With the arrival of colder than normal weather since last week, the price of natural gaz ran up to 5.50 or so last week but has been coming down for three consecutive days at the 4.75 level. At what price does ARC benefit the most form nat. gaz?The consensus is that ARC is cheap and should be added at this price.WHat are your views on the volatility of nat gaz and would 30.00$ be a realistic target price for ARC within a period of twelve months? Many thanks,
Jean

Q: Greetings 5i, as Telus drops further, a tax loss strategy could be to BUY now and then SELL part of the position after 30 days assuming the price will go up in the interim. Comments? This assumes that one will need some tax losses in 2026 and would like long term exposure to this company. Thank you.

Q: TRI: read your report. Owned for very long time - small position 550 shares - up 327% including dividends. Thinking of adding at some point this month - tax loss selling. Non registered account ( wife's) Own in this portfolio: ATD, BMO, CM, EMP.A, ENB, TRP, SLF, T, TFII ( bought few weeks ago - up 10% now) ETF ZUE - owned very long time - up 504% and of course TRI. We are in our 70s, so, have more than enough capital.
