Q: Just wondering what your comments are on the overall company of DIV and how safe do you think the dividend is? Also on October 4th there was a press release. In the press release it stated

"The Corporation will be holding a Special Meeting of shareholders to consider and, if thought advisable, to pass a special resolution to approve the reduction of the stated capital of the Corporation’s common shares to $200.0 million."

What does that exactly mean and is it positive, negative or neither towards the share price?

Q: Thank you for your very rapid response to my question of 23/10/16. I am very interested in your mention of IAE as a "highly leveraged oil bet" since I believe all their holdings are in the North Sea area notwithstanding their 329% increase since January this year. Isn't this whole area subject to much higher drilling & overhead costs then the general oil market?

Q: The above are 4 lagers in my RRSP, on average down by 30%. I have a 5 year time frame to get at least the 30% back which represents $26000.00
I would like your input on a stock or stocks that could help me achieve that goal

Here is an impossible question for you because I know your opinion on these individual stocks is negative at best. If you had your feet to the fire and had to chose one for the long term...what would it be and why?
