Q: Mega Uranium seems to have some good potential especially with its $55 million holding in Nexgen. However it has 290 million outstanding shares. Do you consider this number of shares to be a concern for a company with a market cap of $45 million and could you provide information re the issuing of new shares over the past two or three years. Although there has been recent insider buying the overall insider holdings appear to be quite low. Could you give the actual insider ownership at this point. Also do you have an opinion on the management of this company. Thanks.

Q: My question is companies that will benefit from rising interest rates. I was wondering if you could give me a top three that trades in Canada and a top three that trades in the US...May one ETF too if possible. I understand that rates wont go up over night. I just want to start accumulating now for a 5-7 year hold to wait for rates to rise. I would prefer it if they paid a dividend as well.
Thanks so much

Q: Could I get your opinion of WPX. Followed this for a long time and have a difficult time understanding what is going on. Buying back a lot of shares and directors hold a lot of shares and Belling capital a big holding along with CBC and 5 individuals. Very big Chinese holdings.
Thanks your service is terrific

Q: Are there any companies/organizations in the Artificial Intelligence sector that 5i believes are good long-term investment opportunities; perhaps focusing application to diagnostic medicine. (Not so interested in driver-less cars, but believe that there must be tremendous long-term plays for companies perfecting diagnostic tools, for example.)
Thanks for your excellent investment analysis.

Q: I have made some good gains on XCS(24%) and XIC (10.5%) from the market runup from January. Thanks to your article about small caps stocks from last year. Now I am wondering if I should take the gains, wait for a sell off and buy in again. With most of my stocks I never time the market and its all buy and hold but with XCS and perhaps XIC I am considering taking profits. Or mayble I should just take profits from XCS..Note that the holdings are in a registerd account so tax is not an issue. Your opinion is most valued. cheers, Shyam
Q: Your opinion for this stock is appreciated.Thanks.Ebrahim
Q: What is your opinion about holding AIG? Would it be best to sell?
Q: Although I have an idea of what the term Current Ratio means, could you give your interpretation of the term. I have read that it has importance in determining the value of a company. Could you please comment on this. If it does have value then what would be a good benchmark to use. Thanks.
Q: What is opinion of this solid company, its pending changes and future potential considering its Western Canada base, etc. Thank you
Q: When BIN got taken over I used the money to buy RSG over WCN. I have no complaints with either performance or dividend, but wonder which of the two you would prefer going forward and why.
Thanks you
Thanks you
Q: In today's Globe there is a lot of doom and gloom news about Bonds, especially from Bill Gross, the bond Guru.
As (an almost) a senior, should I worry about my bond ETFs? I a well diversified in Bonds, Short/medium term, Corporate, US and International.
If I have to sell them now, where can I divert that money?!!
I have preferreds ETFs, dividend ETFs, REITs. Should I increase my % in these areas? Or take the risk and increase the equity portion of my portfolio?
Thanks in advance.

Q: Sorry, I should have clarified in my previous question, that I was looking for a Dow etf on the U.S. exchange as I want to purchase it in usd. Can you recommend one?
Since I currently only own IWO i thought the Dow would add a bit more stability and income than an s and p etf. Is this a good strategy?

Q: I would be interested in your current opinion of HBC in light of their latest quarter.
Do their real estate interests and joint ventures w/ Simons in the US and RioCan in Canada represent a significant opportunity going forward?
Thanks,
NA

Q: Is this recent drop in FSV a good entry point to add to my existing 2% position? Thanks and have a great weekend.
Q: Except for Peter, all of the analysts commenting on about HCG on BNN in the last few months are negative on this stock. What are they missing?

Q: Hi , if Britain leaves , will the "market" perceive it as a negative to ATD.B
- would it make more sense to sit on the sidelines for June , or maybe scale in on dips
Thanks,
David

Q: Hi I currently own some of this stock. The company is being sold to it's American parent company. Do you recommend selling the stock at it's current price, wait to see if price goes higher, or keep the stock and convert it into the American stock? Thank you for your response.
Q: A long time ago, long before 5i, I bought MMP.UN as a way of owning some gold exposure for insurance. I have held it far too long. Looking at it now, I see it has a high MER, mostly junior golds, and a bit of a dividend, much less than when I bought it. Would I be better off to have XGD for this portion of my portfolio? ZJG probably has all the same juniors as MMP.UN
Thanks. Until I joined 5i I never used to look at details like this

Q: Re: the questions of max percentage small caps for a long-term investor that does not need the capital (answer: 30% max) - what do you consider a small cap? what do you consider mid caps? I am not sure but my understanding is that definitions range on that front. Would the 30% include mid caps too? Many thanks!
