Q: Hi team,
I like SQ and I know it is one of your favourites. It had a big sell-off, with all other tech, but now has the CFO leaving. I always liked Sarah Friar as I thought she was a real driving power behind SQ. To me, she is not just your everyday CFO. She knew what to say to the markets. For example, she would tone down Dorsey when he went too far over the top on crypto transactions earlier the year. As you know, Dorsey is also CEO of TWTR and splits his time half and half between SQ and TWTR. The market was not overly concerned with this arrangement as long as Friar was there for SQ. With a weaker management team now and given the TWTR onus also on Dorsey, does this temper your outlook for SQ?
Thanks again,
dave

Q: Will an updated report on Cineplex be available soon?
Q: Does the team at 5i have any insight why the ETF Dividend 15 (DFN-T) is down so dramatically in the past week?
Q: Hi Team. As a Honeywell shareholder, I received a few Garrett Motion Technology shares, in a spin-off. Of course, I'm down immediately, but the question is, would you sell, or hold, or consider adding more?

Would you consider this ETF as a good place to be in the present stock market

Q: Could I have your thoughts on the current worldwide market sell off, what is driving this and how bad can it get? Is it a short term correction or something bigger to worry about?

Q: Good morning
Based on current climate and uncertainty, I started to liquidate some holding or at least profits over the last few weeks....about 30% cash...however, I would like to place some cash in income producing stocks (REIT/XHY) or other such stable stocks...I fully understand we are in volatile market..but was wondering which you would recommend 5 or 6 names for income with what we would be considered less volatile in this environment..+4%..yields...when things settle will deploy back into my core holdings...thanks

Q: What is your view of Richelieu latest quarterly results?
Q: Your Income Portfolio is sitting on 10% cash. I know you are not keen on both a) holding cash and b) market timing. Question 1 = what is your rationale for holding this amount of cash? Q2 = what are your plans and timing for reducing the cash component?
Thanks for your great service...Steve

Q: Good morning. Which stocks are most tempting to you this morning? Or, in your seasoned opinion does this sell off have more steam and maybe holding for a bit before buying might be best? Thanks!
Q: Hi Peter & team,
What do you think of the deal with IPCO? Supposedly it represents an aquisition of $1.85/share of PXX....but it's only at ~ 1.50. This is my son's stock and he has a 55% loss even at 1.50 price. Would you sell? Should it get to 1.85?
Thanks!

Q: What would be your guess, in percentage, of another correction happening now like the one last Jan-Apr? It seems to me that there are more real risks now then there were then (interest rate fears, China tarrifs). Do you think if there are strong earnings in November it would move this market up? For some reason I don't think they would.

Q: What's your view of continuing to hold VIG in the near to medium term? I'm thinking there could be an increasing amount of pressure on it and its constituent companies as higher bond yields are actually materializing and are making VIG's 1.84% dividend look anemic by comparison. Is there an alternative holding/strategy you might recommend in its place during this period?
Q: May I have your opinion on the implications of their receipt of the "Full Notice to Proceed" from TransCanada in relation to the Coastal Gaslink Pipeline Project
