Q: Hello, I would like your opinion on Reitmans (RET.A). The stock is at its lowest level in 37 years. The latest results are not good and the competition is very strong, but on the other hand, the debt is not very high and the managers have a lot of experience. Is there any hope in your opinion? Are we trying to catch a falling knife? Thank you.

Q: For a 2-5 years holding period, which of these Royalty companies has the best growth profile? Are the risks in the two smaller companies significantly higher? My understanding is that Royalty companies are "safer" than exploration and mining companies. Thanks
Q: I recently asked you for 4-5 core picks for U.S. stocks and you kindly sent them to me that was appreciated. I am trying to keep my stocks organized by sector, which you have also helped me with and wondered what (based on your Sectors) Costco and Disney would be in?
Thank you so much
Margaret

Q: Hi Team,
RECP is down almost 30% in the last 2 months most probably due to big stockholders sales at the end of September.
... Price momentum is very ugly at the moment.
When would you consider the name a buying opportunity.
Thx

Q: Adding to a TSX comp index fund I tried to pick stocks from the balanced portfolio and others you have reports on. I'm struggling to put in the time I think required to manage 20 Canadian stocks. I'm considering buying WXM and reducing down to about 10 stocks. Anything faulty in this plan? Do you like WXM and are there other similar ETFs you can recommend i should consider?

Q: Siyata (SIM) has been getting some good purchase orders and the shares were finally coming off a low base. Then they announced a $10 million convertible debenture with the convert price at 45 cents for the next two years. I thought with some solid PO's that they could get some bank financing or even facture financing. Instead they did a convertible debenture. What do you think of this move? If the convertible debenture is a good deal for the ones investing who can a small retail guy participate. Do you have to call the finance company that is doing the issue (PI financial, cannacord) and see ask to buy some? If so, do you have to be a client of those firms? I have kept up to date on this company and I like their future but I have to admit that I am disappointed that the stock price got slammed down again.
Q: A trading education question - today (Dec.5) WCP opened at $4.25, high of day was $4.36 and at 4pm closed at $4.29. Volume weighted average trade price for the day was $4.2918
On the TMX site more trades were listed at 4:10pm. Six trades printed, all done at $4.68
Selling brokers included brokerges with numbers 85,62,25,68 & 80. The TMX Member Firm Directory details those brokerages.
https://www.tsx.com/trading/accessing-our-markets/member-firm-directory
Question relates to the buying broker for all 6 of the 4:10pm EST trade prints - brokerage #100. Total volume printed for the 6 trades was 407,000 shares. Not mom or pop trading in their pajamas.
Who is brokerage #100 & what would be the probable reason for why the 6 shown trades were done at over a 9% premium to the day's volume weighted average trade price (ie. $4.68 vs $4.29)?
I'm assuming it's somehow related to institutional trading given individual trade volume sizes (250,000 on one print) but I would be interested to know a better answer. Ideas?
Thanks for insights and opinions.
