Q: Hi Everyone at 5I!

Wow! I have never seen a stock go up 50% in one day!! What gives?? I bought this for $50 and it cracked $800. It has been going up steadily but this was a terrific jump.( I expect some pull back). Why did it rise so swiftly and what might be its longer term prospectus?? Your opinion would be much appreciated!!

Cheers,
Tamara

Q: There is increasing media coverage of the fact that data centres are gobbling up huge amounts of water and electricity. Communities in the US are now banning their construction fearing water shortages and higher power rates.
I assume industry is starting to look at these issues. I know it is very early in this game but are there companies dealing with these matters that one could start to review and analyze ? Thanks. Derek.

Q: In the event of a recession or at a minimum, reduced GDP growth, which you expect URI's business to increase or decrease? On the one hand. Slowing growth could mean less demand for their rental equipment. On the other hand, as growth slows, companies may turn to renting instead of committing to new purchases. How have they done in past slowdowns?

Appreciate your insight.

Q: What is the main stock valuation driver for Constellation Software, and can you please provide a sense of the trend? For example, if it’s free cash flow, then please provide the annual percentage change for each of the past three years, as well as the year-on-year percentage change for the discreet fourth quarter - 3 mos - of 2025 (since Q1 2026 is not yet available).

Additionally, has the compression in PE ratios of software companies translated into more acquisitions for CSU and acquisitions at more advantageous valuations?

Q: The only material stock I own is SIL. Would WPM and CS be good additions to the materials or is there a better stock (s) you would prefer to buy? This is for a rrsp and will not need the fund for 20 years.

Thanks

Q: Hi, now that Hammond has done so well for me (thank you), I wonder if it's worth taking some profit and initiating a starting position in Elva? 3.5% position in HPS, but it's made me a lot, so I wonder about diversifying a bit. Thank you!

Q: This has a 4% weighting, and I have held it mostly for income purposes since retirement in 2018. I have never been really compelled to be overly worried about its dividend payouts at different levels, quarterly. However, the last payout was very low at 0.0957. Can you see why it was such a drop, and if it indicates a change in their payout plans? As always, thanks for your fine service.

Q: Palantir seems to be lagging many other tech names recently. What is your view on Palantir and do you see this as a buying opportunity? Or are their other names you prefer?

Thanks

Q: The symbol for my Thomson Reuters Corp has changed to 66543D today. My online broker told me that this is because of a merger with another company, could you elaborate on this? I have been holding ABT for more than 5 years now and I am in negative territory with this stock today. Would you buy more, hold or simply sell for something better in the health care sector? Thank you

Q: Hi,

I try not to time the market and positions too much, but when you see a position run into earnings, for example HPS.A, would you trim? I have a 4.91% position and its been doing very well. For smaller or mid cap names that are more volatile, what % do you hold these names at vs a large cap core position? I'm thinking of trimming down to 3.5-4% before earnings, although long term I still like the tailwinds for these power companies. Thanks!
