Q: This morning you noted that TSGI had paid $300 m against debt. I am wondering how you calculated this. I see on the news release that they paid off the $100m on the credit line (after quarter end) and long term debt stands at $5.65B but I don't see mention of $300m? Are they making these payments because they are cash rich or because of some statutory requirement under the lending agreement?

Thanks
Mike

Q: In response to the earlier question today. Last night Colorado voters rejected by a wide margin( 15%) a proposition that would have increased setbacks for drilling . The proposition would have practically ended all new oil and gas drilling on non-federal lands. QST declined starting in August when the Proposition received enough votes to put it on the ballot, as QST currently gets more than 90% of its revenue from Colorado. Now that the risk is gone. Just a significantly, in New Mexico the new governor and lands commissioner have stated that they will be introducing regs very similar to the ones in Colorado which have been the catalyst for the marked increase of demand for QST's equipment in Colorado.

Q: Good morning team,

How much will the share price fall if ALA decides to reduce its dividend by half?

Some may actually like the company more for at least the ambiguity about ALA's future will be significantly reduced.

Will you be a buyer in an anticipation of such a move by ALA or do you think ALA management is too keen to keep its word about not cutting the dividend.

Thanks as always!

Q: Hi
My portfolio is mostly made up of canadain stocks. I do have approximately 20% in US and international etfs to diversify (split evenly). My 2 US ones have done ok over the last 5 yrs. the international, not so much. I’m not sure I’m in the best one/ones for either location. What would you recommend for long term etf/s hold. I have at least 15 yrs before needing the money for retirement. Thanks

Q: Hi guys,

I have large positions in Boardwalk REIT and InterRent REIT. I believe they provide good growth going forward and offer some geographic diversity by owning both of them. I am contemplating adding a third REIT (Killam) to the mix to further diversify into Atlantic Canada. I did some research and noticed that they develop a lot of their units and their portfolio is much newer then most multi family REIT. Is it too much to own 3 REITs. I want to focus on multi family since it is the most resistant to a recession. They are held in my RRSP. I know Killam is focusing 75% of its development and acquisitions outside of Atlantic Canada hoping to diversify its holdings. What are your thoughts?

Thank you,
Jason
