Q: Hi! I keep seeing commercials for Sofi accounts in the US, and it seems enticing. I never see commercials for Robinhood. I hold HOOD and am wondering what the difference is between this and Sofi. Why should one continue to hold HOOD, and is the negative momentum due to competition? Does one hold through this negative momentum? Thank you for your insight.

Q: Hi team,
These 4 companies in the field of AI are apparently considered undervalued by Bank of America.

Karman Holdings Inc. (KRMN $60.84)
-
Voyager Technologies Inc. Class A (VOYG $29.74)
Q: Re your question from WIB today.
You suggested these names as great small caps for growth.
Cudos to you but YTD ENS is +22% and +80% 1 year. KRMN is +54% YTD and VOYG is +30% YTD.
This is extraordinary performance congrats. Given these outsized short term gains what would your purchase strategy be today if you do not own them. Buy at market, wait for a pull back, average in etc etc?
Please advise.
With thanks
Sheldon

Q: My son ( Mech. Eng.) Has held STX for quite a while and others in the tech. sector. He is telling me to buy this stock.
What do you think?
STX: follow-up to my question on STX - they seem to have a lot of debt; buy very high ROE which tells me they are making a fair bit of money. Comment please.

Q: I own both BRK.b and V in my RSP and TFSA and see their relative strength both peaked at last year's market bottom along with the safety trade in general. Do you feel the markets are more risk-on these days to the point where I should let V go for something more "aggressive" in the financial space while keeping the diversity of BRK.b? Thanks!
Q: If you could only own 1? BTW, my portfolio was up 51% last year, 5i staff deserve a huge tx, not only with the stock picks but portfolio managment skills I've learned, Cant thank you enough!
Q: Can I please have your feedback on APH vs ANET.
What would you prefer and why for buying today with long term hold?
APH seems to be safer and more diversified (bonus points for unique decentralized management approach) whereas ANET is a bit more growthy but comes with higher concentration risk. Both have similar market caps and P/E and have minimal to no dividends so easy comparison there.
Appreciate your thoughts...

Could I have your current thoughts here. I currently hold and tend to do so (generally) for the long term but questioning my own reasoning on this one.

Q: I have a LIRA account and don’t plan to make any withdrawals for the next 15 years. I’m looking for “buy-and-hold” stock and/or ETF investment ideas that would suit this long-term timeframe.
I’m open to a mix of individual stocks and ETFs, across both Canadian and U.S. markets. Given the long horizon, I’m comfortable with experiencing periods of market volatility.
Any additional suggestions on how you would approach this situation if it were your own account would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Q: hello 5i:
President Trump is going to go ahead with the Golden Dome, whether Canada participates or not. It sounds as if most Democrats also support and would continue the program. In your estimation, which companies would participate or benefit most from this undertaking?
