Q: Can you provide a few names that would benefit from the rise of autonomous vehicles? I'm a bit leery of TSLA because Elon Musk seems to have gone off the deep-end lately. I also think companies like ACQ could be in trouble because fewer cars will purchased in the long-term.
Q: In a response to Bob today you stated: "We might consider KXS, BOX and NVDA in the group as well, with the former two much riskier than the others." Given that you have made positive comments on KXS lately, even recommended it on 1 May along with CSU and SIS as a choice for a longer term buy, I am wondering why you suggest today that it is a "risky" stock.
Q: It seems both technically and fundamentally, Sylogist appears to be breaking out. Your comfort level at continuing to add to positions as these levels.
Q: Investing in 5G network companies - I hearing a lot about this - do you have any suggestion of US or Canadian companies that I can invest in to take advantage of this? Thanks
Q: Do you know what is going on with NOC. I thought they had an OK qtr but the stock has fallen off a cliff ever since. Where do you think it might become a BUY?
Thanks
Ian
Q: Comments on earnings please. SP has fallen after hours. Do you see any catalyst moving forward or more of a stagnation due to slowing growth,
Thank you
Q: Hi Peter and gang,
Would you please comment on why WDC's shares pulled back so much this past Friday in spite of its earnings beating street expectations.
Cheers,
Q: I am largely an extremely long term buy and hold investor. With respect to tech stocks over the next three decades I see the usual suspects alphabet, amazon, facebook and apple as fairly certain bets over that time frame notwithstanding potential government intervention causing breakups. That said, what other US tech companies would you feel have similar potential staying power for the extremely long term aside from Cognex ? Which 4-5 others would you select ?
I continue to spread the good word about this site. You do solid work.
