Q: My portfolio is light on technology stocks (5%). I own SYZ. Are there other options in the sector with a 3-5% dividend, which you could recommend? Being retired, I'm seeking income and some decent growth.

I'm curious to know what you think about this:

BlackBerry (BB.TO) recently ousted Thorsten Heins as CEO in November and now has John Chen at the helm of the company. Since that time the stock has been steadily increasing with slow and steady short term growth. Chen has announced a new BlackBerry (Q20) taking the company back to its core business and what it does best...the QWERTY keyboard, which will be released the second half of 2014. Do you see this stock as a short-term hold for a quick profit turnaround until the launch of the Q20 and before first sales numbers are released or would you buy in now and hold for a longer period of time?

Q: Another question about BLD. Is it getting frankly ridiculous? Up 250% in two months? 20% today alone after 13% yesterday? I know you've expressed a lack of confidence in this stock, and I know electric batteries have some enthusiasm behind their movement, but I'm not seeing others in the industry rise this swiftly on no real news. Do you have any idea what's driving it and would it be incredibly dangerous to jump aboard?

I know you don't think highly of DWI's(Dragonwave) management. But on valuation and potential for their product, is it worth $1.50? I sold around $2.00 and just got back in.
What do you think of PXL (Palliser Oil)? Will it be a survivor?
Lastly, NII (Norsat) is trending up. What do you think of this stock?
