Q: Tourmaline has been on a slide recently. I am looking for a bounce and will be selling my position and would have thought the excessive heat in the US and parts of Canada would have supported the price of Nat Gas and thus Tou. That hasn’t happened.
Could you provide your opinion on the short term, 3-6 months, price of Nat Gas and Tourmaline’s stock price?

Q: I have a research report for North American O&G producers, large or SMID. It includes the following ‘scatter plot’ graphs.

• EV/EBITDA vs 2025E Levered FCF Yield
• EV/EBITDA vs 2025E D/CF
• EV/EBITDA vs 2025E ROCE
• 2025 CFPS vs Strip & Consensus

How would you rank or use these graphs to evaluate a company ? Thanks.

Q: Electrification seems to be a big theme going forward. Can you suggest some companies, large and small cap, and any utilities that stand to benefit the most from this . I would assume Hammond would be a beneficiary.

Q: I have a variety of questions about WCP. First, of course one cannot complain about its very healthy dividend but the share price has languished for quite some time. Can you offer any insight as to why the share price is not pushed higher given the attractive yield?

Second, many commentators refer to O & G companies enjoying substantial cash flows, that many companies are paying down debt at a rapid rate, and that once paid down the companies will return surplus to shareholders in one form or another. What is the state of WCP’s balance sheet in this regard....do they have much debt? Is it being paid down at a rapid rate or does the dividend use up a lot of its cash flow? And if they are paying down debt, when will it be done and what do you think they might do with surplus cash, given its already healthy dividend?

Third, last week there was a headline about WCP doing a sale of part of an asset with Pembina, but it seems most of the sale proceeds were going to a Pembina subsidiary to further the operations of the asset. Is that correct, or can you discern exactly what is going on? And regardless, what does this transaction mean to WCP’s prospects going forward?

One company but lots of different issues. Many thanks for your excellent service.

Q: With LNG ports being built in British Columbia, could you suggest a few producing LNG companies and a few pipe line companies that will benifit from these ports? Also any timelines when these ports will be in service and what companies own and will benifit from these ports?

Thanks and love your service and help.

Q: I never sold my position of Questor Technology (I guess I have a problem parting with my losers!!) It had a 20 percent bump in one day last month. There is chatter on stockhouse about maybe someone is accumulating to take this 'dog of a stock" private. Can you confirm how much cash is still on Questors balance sheet? My understanding is that the cash almost covers the current market cap. If so then a take private with a premium would still be cheap for the acquirer. How much per quarter would it cost questor to be listed on the venture exchange? Could taking this 'dog of a stock" private be viable if they could clean up a lot of S & G costs? Also if QST was taken private they could take the axe to upper management and also save some expenses. Right? So it could be a viable enterprise to a larger acquirer, right? I just can't see why this company can't get any traction in sales of equipment or contracts for rentals of their equipment. Apparently there is huge concern for the gases that are released with flaring of excess natural gas and, if you believe QST, they have a good solution to this problem. So why can't they get any sustainable contracts/sales? Is the concern over flaring gases just a lot of "hot air" talk and the truth is no one is going to do much to lower it? Or is Questor's solution really not that great or competitors have better options to solve this problem?Perhaps someone in the oil and gas industry who reads this question can comment since I don't really expect 5i research to have any intel on this problem.

Q: Good morning,

I am thinking of adding Gibson Energy at an initial 1-2% weight. Looking for income, moderate dividend growth, and some price appreciation potential. I am a little light in the energy space with current holdings in CNQ/SU/WCP, and am hoping you will think this might be a decent addition.

Thoughts?

Thanks as always.
