Q: I've done very well with SHOP (thanks to 5i) but it has grown to 12% of my overall portfolio. I really like to let the winners run, and am quite risk tolerant, however I am considering selling 20% and reinvesting the proceeds. I plan to top up KXS, which seems has good momentum, but need some other suggestions. What other technology stocks would you suggest at this time? Options outside of tech would be appreciated too.

Q: Hello Peter,
I like your response from the previous question on Canntrust but I would appreciate it if you can provide comments as to why this company which has been touted by analysts and BNN guests as one of the better players in the cannibis space, yet it has performed poorly when compared to most of the mid and large cap players. When you look at the chart from inception to now, Canntrust has not done well. Their fundamentals and strategy appear to be sound but why such a gap (comparing to weed, acb, cron, hexo, ogi, etc).
Also, on another note, KSHB, Kush holdings is bascially a picks and shovels play in the US for cannibis packaging etc and only trades over the counter (not on your list). It plans to list on nasdaq or nyse. If this happens, what would happen to my shares if they were bought over the counter. Would i be able to sell same shares on nyse or nasdaq. Apppreciate it.

Q: hi 5i team,

As a follow on to Joseph's question re high ROE companies (asked on February 22, 2019)...can you comment on Cott Corp (BCB) (was in the list of companies) recent results and on the company overall? I ask as their ROE number is 38 which seems pretty good. How are their other financial metrics?
Would you consider this now a growth company (given last years asset sales) or simply an income oriented company?
If you were to rate it, would it be a 'B' type company?

Thanks!
Steve

Q: As a holder of aw I am consernd about your comments that the beef used is antibiotic free .
The use of growth hormones in the beef industry is all but redundant due to the advancement on genitics.there for a easy thing to say and advertise.
Antibiotic free beef is something that is impossible on a commercial scale and AW on there website verified this .
In 5:i assessment of aw claimed it sells only antibiotic free meat not so
Kind regards
Stan

Q: I have made very good returns in 2018 on Canopy Growth and HMMJ and have since sold all positions. I am considering a base position totaling 3 to 5% for a long term hold. As clarity evolves over long term performance I can adjust my holdings. How would you rank the three names given or would it be most prudent to diversify across all three initially?

Q: I am a somewhat conservative investor. I've avoided the pot stocks until now. But a couple of weeks ago I finally decided to dip a toe into things and buy VFF. My theory being that even if the pot growers are jostling for position, and even if many won't survive, the people who rent them greenhouses will do well.

I'm taken aback by this thing. I bought it (0.5% of my portfolio) on Feb 1 and it's up 71%, which to me seems insane. Yet when I check it on Stockcalc it still shows it undervalued by over 55%.

I guess my question is - do I dare add to my position, now approaching 1%? What kind of risk evaluation would you make on VFF as opposed to 'normal' stocks?

Q: Set to begin trading in New York on Feb 25th as of recent news. Had a nice bump yesterday. Can you give your thoughts on the following?
1. How does this stack up to bigger name producers in terms of value and potential? It is certainly less publicized
2. Looking back at other pot stocks that began trading in the US (2 i think?) what type of jump, if any, does the beginning of US trading have on prices?

Thanks!
