Q: Hi
The Globe and Mail mentioned potential Cloud investment ideas today. CLOU-Q, WCLD-Q, SKYY and a new Canadian name DATA-T. I currently own Microsoft which gives me some Cloud exposure. I am wondering what your opinion would be to invest in this space?

Q: I am trying to look under the hood of the Emerge ark etfs(EAGB,EARK,EAAI,EAUT,EAFT) and I am finding it tough to analyze all of the companies that these etfs hold. In your opinion which one of those five etfs would best represent the combination of all five. Tnx for your great work.

Q: Contemplating selling VGT and buying ARKK. The only thing stopping me is ARKK's 10% investment in TESLA. Would you stay away from ARKK given its strong bet on this one stock with a history of volatility? Additionally, how do you see TESLA's price (and therefore ARKK's) being impacted by TESLA's addition later this month to the S&P500? Thank you.

Q: ETFs
Can you suggest your top 1-2-3 ETFs traded on the TSX for Canadian, USA and International markets that should perform well (after fees) over the next 1-2 years and have good trade volumes? Also, would this be a good time to purchase hedge or unhedged ETFs?

iShares S&P/TSX Canadian Preferred Share Index ETF (CPD)
-
iShares U.S. High Yield Bond Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) (XHY)
Q: You continue to hold XHY and CPD in the income portfolio. My understanding when purchasing these was that they would perform well in a low interest rate environment. That has not been the case. I am about breakeven on them over the past 3 years with dividends included. What is the investment thesis for holding them now that interest rates are already so low. Is it time to move on?
