Q: Please review the earnings. Is this a buy for future growth? What would be a good entry point?
Q: Hello Peter & Team,
Is there any reason in particular MSFT is down (almost 20%) in the past 3 months? At what price would you say MSFT is attractive to re-buy shares?
Thanks for all you do

Q: Please comment on Barrick's earnings and outlook. How do you think the split into 2 companies will affect the share price? When will the large copper project in Pakistan produce the first pour? Thank you.
Q: I have securities in my RRIF that have a gain. Sometme in 2026 I plan to sell some of these stocks in order to satisfy CRA requirements. Because the stocks that I will be selling have a gain, not a loss I assume that I can buy them immediately in my non registered account. Am I correct in my assumption? Thank You.

Q: What are your thoughts on the software industry sell-off being an M&A catalyst? Any ideas on target companies being taken out?
Q: There appears to have been a significant and well organized campaign against SGML designed apparently to discredit its operation which I assume has now been countered. Would you please comment on the resolution of this issue and provide an analysis of the performance of this company and its prospects.
Q: Any insights on this company? I've heard this is about to blow up with Grand Theft Auto 6 ...thoughts?
Q: Peter; Would you switch from AMZN to NVDA today? Thanks.

Q: What does the term “correction” mean when used to describe drops in the market like the one we are now experiencing, for example? If it means that prices were too high and the correct price is now in place, why would we expect stock prices to return to the old “too high” prices? Or is that only a few stocks were overpriced and in need of correcting but everything gets caught in the downdraft? To me it seems that stocks are simply dropping in price!
Appreciate your insight.

Q: hi, with the recent downturn in tech, software, crypto, can I get your top 5 CDN and top 5 US stocks for purchase now ( in the tech, software or crypto space only ).

Q: Another one on Constellation.
All software stocks bounced nicely, in Friday's trading ( IGV - Tech software ETF also bounced off its low of $80, Thursday ).
But, on a day like this, CSU is down 4% (after reversing from $2570, on Thursday ), contrasting the trend of its peers. If CSU has been hammered, over past several months, due to AI scare, like many other software Co's, it should follow the trend and be up today, but sadly no.
It appears to me that CSU may have found a bottom, in the near term ( $2175-$2200), but could well remain range bound, until posting at least a couple of solid quarters, irrespective of the general trend in software co's ( AI related fears).
Would you agree with these observations ?
Thank You

Q: Peter & Team, thanks for your calm in this stormy market. With Amzn, Goog, Msft etc indicating >$500B in Capex spend, who are the beneficiaries ? The chips are obvious but who else ? Are the copper companies part of the list ? What are the best names based upon valuation here ? Thank you.
Q: Shopify stock has declined by over $100, from a high of $253, in Oct,25 to $150, now.
What is causing the outsized drop and negative sentiment ?
Even today when the entire Tech sector bounced back nicely in Friday's trading, SHOP has lagged the market and continues its downtrend of several weeks with a red tape.
Do you think strong earnings, next week could change the scene ?
Thank You

Q: Please comment the result and what is buy in price you would suggest for most safe.
Q: I have a recent purchase of AVGO:CDN stocks and am up 71%. I check my CIBC account for this stock and it shows a drop off the cliff price chart which I don't understand. I can't find any explanation for this. I see the dividend is very low and thought it was much higher when I bought the stocks. Can you shed any light on this?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: - I am thinking of investing in silver - is there a stock you would recommend, or would an ETF be better in this case? I do not want to hold physical silver
Thanks

Q: In their quarterly report today, which seemed very good to me, OTEX said:
OpenText is at the forefront of Enterprise Information Management for AI, and at our recent OpenText World conference, our customers and partners demonstrated on the main stage how they leverage our Aviator AI solutions to solve complex problems, bringing insights, security and compliance to their information and most sensitive data.
If this is true, and OTEX will benefit from AI, why has it dropped about 30% in the last few weeks on the AI Eats Software Companies' Lunch trade? This makes no sense to me, so I've been averaging down. The National Bank analyst, Richard Tse, reiterated his outperform rating in a post-earnings report entitled Still Like the Setup. Do you agree with Richard and I that Mr. Market is perhaps mistaken in its punishment of the stock?
