Q: Hello Peter and Ryan,
I own McEwen MIning and Gold Standard Ventures. The news on both appeared to be decent when i bought them over 4 months ago, both are down quite a bit now. Should i stick with them or take my losses and move onto Kirkland lake gold and B2 Gold? Also, is the $24 share from Aurora a Stock offer and not a cash offer for Cannimed? Is that the reason why the Cannimed shares have not increased to 24 or higher on the market (seem to be hovering between18-20 range). Thank you.

Q: Going forward, I’d appreciate your advice as to the potential to recover on these stocks. I’m down 16% on PKI, 17% KWH.UN, 18% on VET and 23% on ENB. I appreciate the dividends, am well diversified, have a half position in all but Crius (full position) and willing to hold for an extended period of time. What do you see for each of these in the next 1 - 2 year period. I guess I’m now questioning if being well diversified (energy) will continue to work against me given that it is 9% of my portfolio and I believe you’ve recently suggested 5% is adequate at this time. Subtract as many credits as warranted. Thanks!

Q: Dear 5i
I`ve read a few times that you`ve mentioned EBIX as one of your favourite US stocks . I`ve looked at it in some detail and agree that it looks impressive . My only concern is its debt level and a relatively high short position. Do these metrics concern you at all ?
I`m considering FLIR and GRMN as well and was wondering if you could rate these three stocks best to worst .

Q: Sangoma Technologies released Q1 FY 2018 results this evening. Q1 looked really strong and the share valuation seems very inexpensive for Company with this growth rate, that is profitable and has a strong balance sheet. Your thoughts on STC, its current valuation and would it be a future consideration for the 5i growth portfolio given its 2018 annual sales are guided to exceed $46 million?

Q: I would like your updated opinion on Dollarama. I think it is reporting 3rd quarter results. Consulting the question database, you have felt it was expensive in the past, but it has been heading up and up and is at an all time high as of tyhe close today. My personal experience has been walking to isles. The store seems to be an upgrade of the inexpensive store format - they stock a higher qualtiy of good (in my opinion). So, are there any danger signs ? Love your terrific service.

Q: Hello 5i,
I have been thinking about increasing my allottment to emerging markets funds. I already hold vwo and was wondering whether to just increase that, or whether it would be better to diversify. I would appreciate your thoughts on that question and suggestions as to what might be etf's. I am an Average, moderatly conservative investor, with a good diversification

Q: My wife and I hold eight energy companies in our portfolios on average down 30%.
Should we consolidate or add another name and if so which ones would you have in RRIF, TFSA and MARGIN accounts.

Q: Well, it looks likes like the stock is making another strong move again, yes expensive, but is this just a company that amazon can not compete against? In one of the stores today, seeing the line-up at the till, it just doesn't stop. Reminds me of what Peter Lynch said, just watch where people are shopping. They also love to buy back stock, is that a good sign also?
