Q: Hello Peter,
I consider stocks such as chartwell and jean coutu to be fairly stable over a 3 to 5 year time frame. If these types of stocks go up 15 percent in a short time (less than 6 months), is it better to sell half a position and consider buying it back when it pulls back or it is best just to hang on to it for the long run? Also, to add to my gold and resource position, i was thinking of adding to sprott inc, but for some reason, the stock has not moved. I understand you worked at Sprott but i am using it as an example of a asset management company that specializes in precious metals and resource stocks. thanks very much.
