Q: I have money invested in the CASH and PSAV ETFs in registered accounts through my bank HSBC Canada. As I understand it, HSBC Canada is about to be bought by RBC. I also understand that RBC, for some reason, does not allow trading in the CASH and PSAV ETFs. If this is correct, am I at any risk or concern on this? Should I sell my CASH and PSAV ETFs before RBC takes over or just carry on as normal?

Q: Hi,

Can you offer your words of wisdom about this product. I don't see any questions this when I searched your archives. Came across this product some time ago when a guest on BNN mentioned this.

Is this a safe place to park my USD (iTrade allows me to hold USD) Are thee any other products that are similar and less expensive? It's MER is 0.12 according to Horizon's website.
Is this okay to hold them in both registered and non registered accounts? With the long anticipated pullback on its way, I thought parking cash in USD is a way to go. Plus USD seems to weakening and may be worthwhile to buys some now?

Q: Thanks for answering my question about a moneymarketfund
The fund you suggested TDB166 is not available for purchase through TD Directinvesting as it carries trailing commission
So they gave me another fund with no trailing commissiion TDB 2915 dont know the interest on this one .
I need it for my US TSFA account .

Q: When lookking at the ROI over 3-5-10 years. The S&P has always done better than the others. When looking at the strength of their economy and the investment that US companies put in R&D how are they gonna loose their 1st position as a super economy power? and foremost and this is the question: Why invest elsewhere? Canada with merely 5% of the world economy? Europe has been lagging since I started investing 40 years ago where else? China? gotta be kidding. Seriously why spread our investments worldwide when the best is our neibours? Just buy the S&P and wait still forever.
