Q: CSCO's earnings misstep resulted in a 11% stock price haircut. I am a long-time holder and am contemplating adding to my position. What's your take on the recent statement and whether this is an opportunistic wise move or not.

Q: I'm 79 thinking of selling all individual stock's, ETF's etc. and moving to Index funds ETF's.
Maybe keep the telecom, bank stocks that I have.
1] What is your opinion on this?
2] Could you list the best ones to invest in?
Thank you.

Q: I'm split at 20% ETF and 80% stock. Going into 2024 where do you see the canadian market vs the S&P or MSCI EAFE ? The US has outperformed the other 2 in 2023 as usual but do you believe that this continues into 2024? Could you comment on the 3 and what are the chances for the Canadian and International markets to perform better than they have in the coming years?
Q: Can I have your thoughts on EQL for a momentum play on the S&P (3 to 5 years)? Thanks
Q: After acquiring MMX last year what is the earnings growth outlook for TFPM? They seem to have a lot of non-producing streams/royalties, how many of these projects are expected to be producing assets in the next decade? Would 5i consider it a buy at current price levels or would you prefer a more senior royalty play like FNV?
Q: Just a comment on how 5i will answer a question to a client who will say they are down 40% on a stock that at one time was recommended by 5i , but 5i will say that the stock is up say 15% this year, it still does not make the stock a winner or make it a stock to hold. Nobody gets this market right all the time, and sometimes i feel that 5i should say get the heck out of this stock, Just like Cramer on CNBC.

Q: Hi 5i,
Do you know of a good Nasdaq Equal Weight ETF in Canada or do you have to invest in the US. If US, can I get your recommendation.
Thanks
John

Q: This holding has been a disappointment for me. I bought it when oil prices (west texas) were in the seventy dollar range and it dropped even as oil prices spiked into the eighties. Would you dump and move on? It's in a TFSA account.

Q: What are your recent thoughts on Flow? They seem to have good distribution through Starbucks and often seem to be on stage with any speaker at any given conference. Which looks impressive but is there too much debt and no profit?

Q: My daughter is invested in just these three ETFs. With a 40-40-20 percent weighting. The reasoning was diversification, growth and safety. YTD she is up 20% but the laggard seems to be the one based on the TSX. Can you make any suggestions concerning this strategy? Thank you!
Q: What are your thoughts long term on oil. The bulls have recently been taking it on the chin. Will they eventually be right? A lot of money will be made if they are. Other than utilities like Enbridge and TC I have no direct exposure.
