Q: Ecn is reporting soon. What are expectations? I am holding with a small loss which I fear is going to turn into a big loss when financials are released and results of review are revealed. The stock is acting very much like CTS leading up to the completion of their strategic review. Thoughts ?

Q: According to the July 18 news release from CSU:

"The Company’s quarterly results will be disseminated via press release and made available on the Company’s website ( www.csisoftware.com ) and SEDAR, after markets close on Friday, August 11, 2023."

Is it normal for companies to release their results after market close ON A FRIDAY?

Politicians want to release bad news at the end of the day on a Friday, especially before a long weekend. So I am wondering if a company would follow suit by releasing bad news at the end of the week after the market closes.

I am not expecting bad news, but I can't recall a company like CSU releasing their results after the markets are closed on a Friday.

Q: I would like to get your latest opinion on this company after their latest earnings report. Topline numbers appear to be very strong.
I am looking for a secure dividend with some long term capital appreciation. In your opinion how safe is the monthly dividend. Are their debt ratios ok? Do they have much competition?

I currently hold a well-balanced portfolio and I am contemplating selling 50% of my position in GSY to purchase ECN. I am willing to take on some risk for potential reward, but I am unsure if maintaining GSY would be more appropriate for my investment space.
