Q: I hold aar.un. If iI choose to do nothing with my shares, what happens and what are the capital gains and tax implications?
Q: Hi Folks
I hold Emera and have done well over time with rising share prices (up to this year) and dividends which tend to go up about 9% a year. I am still below a 4% position in my portfolio and was thinking of topping it up with the 4.5% decline yesterday. Can you comment on the recent earning report and drop in share price - do you think that there are any issues to be concerned with or more one time charges/issues? Is it fairly valued with the share price drop? Seems a pretty steady dividend grower?
Much thanks
Stuart

Q: Hello,
One of largest positions are Alibaba along with Berkshire about 6% each. With Ant financial planning an IPO..does it make sense for me sell some BABa and invest in ANt.
Black rock along with being one of the largest investement companies is now trying to do something in the model of Berkshire. Would this be a good time to start a position on BLK.
Thanks very much for your guidance.

Q: Am I missing something, or does this not look attractive at these new much lower levels? I see the recent decline as driven by a reaction to higher rates and not anything troubling at the company. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hi,
Covalon is down 19% today after the earnings release. Do you still consider this company a buy and if so would this be a good opportunity to get in.

Q: Hi, I am becoming aware of the investment potential in ETFs and that BMO has a number of highly rated ones. When I go onto their site, there is a bewildering array of ETFs and I would just like to ask if there is some sort of preference that you have identified for income generation. Secondly, in respect to the BMO ETFs that are in $US, do they all generate withholding tax? None of them? Some of them and one has to investigate each one to determine if they do or not? Thank you for any suggestions you can make that would point me in a direction for further research.

Q: The 5i Income portfolio could be categorized as an equity income portfolio and I'm wondering how you would quantify the risk of the portfolio relative to the S&P/TSX or other appropriate benchmarks.
