Q: Hi happy sunday. I own some gbr, it has about 200 km2 staked near Red Lake, has just done a private placement, planned at $30 M, oversubscribed, took in $70M, will have about $100M in the bank as of month end. No RE yet, covering analysts opine gbr will trade at $25 roughly next year, Cormark, PI, Cannacord, and some others. Lots og gold, game plan of gbr is to prove up an area called Dixie, sell it, keep the balance of their claims, carry on with the rest. trading at $14, is about 15% of my holdings. Hope is that sale occurs in next 12 months at about $80/sh. should I hang in there, thoughts?
Q: Can you comment on Twitters acquisition of Revue today ?Revue should give Twitter a path to monetize with subscriptions and am hopeful this could be a huge opportunity for Twitter..Kim

Q: Would you know any reason why Square as been taking a beating lately? Would it be a good time to buy now?
Q: Hello 5i
On Jan. 26 question from Jean Guy you referenced research on TDY (Teledyne) yet the name and symbol above the question was Teradyne (TER).
Could you clarify which one you "quite like it today"?
Thank you
Dave

Q: I've owned ENGH for over a year and disappointed at its lack of traction. Would you do a flip of ENGH (closed at $61.85 as of 1/26) for NVEI (closed at $68.26 as of the same day) as a better name for a long term hold? If not NVEI can you recommend other names. Thanks.
Q: One of the biggest BB shareholders is FFH, if I am not mistaken.
Do you know if FFH is holding on to its shares or dumping them into this frenzy?
How would one know? I think this would be material information to know how.

Q: In researching the recent Gamestop madness, I have read that many of the shorts will expire on Friday. Given that the shorting hedge funds have been doubling down on their positions:
https://www.wsj.com/articles/citadel-point72-to-invest-2-75-billion-into-melvin-capital-management-11611604340
is there any possibility that there is a cascading effect of hedge funds potentially getting liquidated? I know that speculating in this matter is akin to mental gymnastics, but I think that the GME holders are here to prove a point about the shady dealings on Wall Street. Is it possible that a showdown between greedy hedge funds and Robinhood/Reddit millenials leads to a wider market shock?

Q: Hi,
If a ticker symbol ends in dot un (.un) such as BEP.UN, it will NOT be eligible for the Canadian dividend tax credit, regardless of where it is domiciled, correct? Because it only applies to corporations and not partnerships or trusts?
Thanks

Q: On the RBC Direct Investing web site it shows the short position of BYP.UN as 7.06%. Is that correct?
Being that there is an (almost) guaranteed offer to takeover BPY.UN by BAM is it unusual to have such a large short position in this case at this time? Aren't the shorts going to have to cover eventually and that would put upward pressure on the stock price? Your comments please.

Q: Hi, my respected 5i team
What are your interpretations of its earing report today? What are the reasons behind the almost 7% price drop?
I think this stock will probably benefit from the global economic recovery after Covid. What are your opinions about it?
I have been watching this stock and been waiting for an entry point to buy, plan to hold it a year or two. Do you think the price here is attractive or at what price range you think is a good entry point?
Thanks in advance!

Q: Hi 5i,
I'm looking at a small investment in the graphene space (batteries, auto parts etc.). 2 companies that I have found are GRA (nanoxplore) and ZEN (zen graphene solutions).
Are there any others to consider?
Would it be possible to provide a bit of background information on these 2 (and others you may like) and give your thoughts?
Of these 2 do you have a preference or would you split 50/50?
Thanks!!

Q: I've seen your team recommend ABBV a few times recently, why do you find this company appealing at this time especially compared to the other pharma cos.
-
Nuvei Corporation Subordinate Voting Shares (NVEI)
-
Foley Trasimene Acquisition Corp. II Class A (BFT)
Q: Can you please compare and contrast BFT (Paysafe) and Nuvei? I have started to see a lot of buzz on BFT ahead of it's transaction and wonder if you would consider it a buy? Picking between BFT and Nuvei would you favour one or the other? The numbers seem impressive. Who are their other competitors and what is the potential total addressable market?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: With copper prices rising, I am starting to wonder about when recycling of copper will become more profitable than mining. A copper-porphyry geologist friend mentioned $4 CA being the price when it is more economical to recycle copper than mine it. Are there copper recycling companies in Canada or elsewhere that you are aware of and that you may recommend?
Thanks,
Ellen
Thanks,
Ellen
Q: Ca I have your thoughts on this stock? Thank you.
Q: Can you recommend a junior mining company focusing on nickel?
Q: Thoughts on SZLS going forward? Thanks...
