Q: Hi guys,
My question is on EEP on the NYSE. What is the relationship to Enbridge. What does this company do. I notice an 8% yield. Is it safe? I notice it is down consistently the passed 2 years, Do you know why? Would you buy it for yield? Would you consider it moderate risk for income?
Thanks for your great service!

Q: Based on your Jan. 15, 2017 research report - when AW.UN was trading at $38.20 and your continuing good comments on AW.UN. I bought the stock on what I thought was recent weakness at $36.28.
So I feel blindsided by your email on June 1 removing AW.UN from your income portfolio. Also as a buy and hold investor I found your rational for selling somewhat weak and surprised a replacement was not recommended. Please comment. Thanks.

Q: A comment on ZST. The annual distribution looks good indeed at around 3.7%, but the weighted average yield to maturity is reported as 1.49% and the annualized performance is just 1.63% over the last three years. This asset has lost around 2% on its price every year. And capital losses yield lower tax benefits than taxable other income gains. One can do better on a net basis with a GIC.

Q: For someone just building a portfolio, which 12 stocks would you recommend from your portfolios for solid growth, medium to high risk, 1-3 year holds? I currently own only GUD at 6% weighting.

Is it possible to get approximate dates as to when the various stocks were added to your portfolios? Some of the stocks have moved considerably higher (like CCL.B, CSU, KXS, SHOP, etc) so wondering if they are still buys at current prices....

Thanks very much.

Q: Hi 5i,

I do not have any oil/gas stock at the moment. I would like to start picking away at VET, WCP ad RRX with 1% position each or 2% for one or two only
I am a little hesitant for VET because of its recent behaviour lately and wonder if there may be a dividend cut coming. Would like your opinion for best action with these stocks. Thanks (consider this as 3 questions)

Q: My representation of the 5i Balanced Growth portfolio is now sitting with around 6% in cash. I thought there might be an update this month after those sales end-Apr, but I suppose there are no great opportunities.

Is there still an intent to allocate this, making the decision to stay in cash for now, or should that cash be allocated elsewhere outside of the portfolio? For the portion of my investments tracking this portfolio, I would rather not purchase something, then realize I need to sell it to continue to match your allocations.
