Q: I am interested in an 'all-in-one' diversified ETF to provide regular (quarterly/monthly) income such as VCIP, that best meets the following criteria:
1) Fairly conservative
2) As tax-advantaged as possible as it will be held in a non-registered account
3) Yield that can reasonably be expected to outpace inflation over time
4) MER<0.4

The rest of the investment portfolio is well diversified across geography, market cap, and sector, achieved with a few broad market index ETFs.

Q: Can you advise as to a hands off type of income fund or etf that is most likely not to return capital.should these be avoided to have a more accurate income with less year end adjustment for tax purposes? Do you think the vanguard ones as per vbal would most likely do this?I have held xtr in the past and it does need to ret.cap. to keep up with the high yield. Any reflection on this and suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Q: 5Iteam: If you look at the track record of phn balance d fund of which I have held off and on over the year's and allways ended up wondering why I sold. Could you give an opinion as to why anyone who wants a hands off approach to part of their portfolio would be any better off with say Plv or Vbal or even Pimco or other. Your comments greatly appreciated.

Q: Dear 5i team: would you rate any other products out there etf's or mutual funds that you may find as a better option as a monthly payer or a total return type product for a retired investment? Or are these as good as any except of course a group of individual stocks.thanks Larry

Q: As an additional comparison to my question of jan.11 re: xtr and zmi do you feel plv would be a better long term hold with more upside potential considering the payout is much more in line with a sustainable payout with maybe not having to rely on roc to meet the higher payout s of the xtr and zmi ? Also would consider any of these to be overvalued and or should an investor wait out a market correction? Thank you kindly Larry
