Q: VMD is up 300% since March while of RHT drop more than 50%. They were supposed to be in the same space and RHT was supposed to be the better company. It makes lower lows every week with no end in sight. Is there any other option that will provide growth in a TFSA account.?
Q: Am i right in thinking that if i don't tender my ECI (Enercare) shares capital gains on all the shares will be triggered?
TD direct investment got my notification to me by mail today after the deadline for tendering and I then spent over an hour waiting to get through to them by phone. A broker I was finally connected to is putting a best effort offer, but cheerfully noted that the worst case scenario is the units would be sold for $29! Not happy with TD direct investing!

Q: What is causing the big bump in WestJet?
Q: Good Morning,
I see this morning that RNX announced over the weekend that they have found more gold at their Beta Hunt mine. I'm about break even on this after holding for a few years , any thoughts on this? Perhaps hold and let it run for a bit? I heard Eric Sprott over the weekend discussed it on his Podcast and seems to have even further interest in RNX.
Thank-you

Q: Peter ,Ryan and crew: Having bought Cineplex in the $50. range , I'm now faced with the prospect of growing old before I see the stock back in that price range. In your opinion, do I bite the bullet and take the loss , hang in or can you suggest a better place for growth.

Q: Just wondering about a switch from Alta Gas to IPL. The yield with IPL is lower however at this point seems to have more certainty.
Q: I would like to increase my global exposure and was looking at Cymbria, or would Edgepoint Global be a better investment? From your last answers on Cymbria, you stated it was trading at a high premium. What would be a good entry point to buy Cymbria? I notice it has come down a little bit since then. What about the management fee for these products, are they reasonable?
Thank you for all the advice I have received over the years!

Q: Why the jump in Ceridian? Is this a good 5 year investment?
Q: This company seems to have changed its focus drastically within the cannabis space since your last assessment in Jan. Could you update the outlook for the company, including the spinout of Poda. Scotia research forecasts .04 earnings in 2019 and .13 in 2020; achievable?
Its trading symbol has changed, now GENE, perhaps to reflect the involvement of its Chief Evangelist Officer, Gene Simmons, whom I know Peter will meet on Friday. Perhaps Peter could find out the duties of a C.E.O.?

Q: Did the last financial report justify share price drop?
Q: About 2 million shares sold mostly slightly below the $47 ask price the first day. Is this positive or negative as far as knowing if the sale is going well. I'm concerned about further downward pressure on the share price.
Q: Do you still recommend this company? Buy or sell? I have a small holding.
Many thanks!

Q: Recently signed up with 5i and I appreciate the information provided. My first question ... I am reducing the risk in my portfolio in anticipation of a market decline over the next 6 to 18 months. Part of which includes increasing the allotment cash/bonds so that I can reinvest in equities at the appropriate time. Over the summer I've moved into some HFR,XBB, HTB. I would like to get some yield but I do not need the cash flow for years down the road. What are your thoughts on these 3 choices for risk reduction and capital appreciation when the market corrects?
