Q: A gold investor named Michael Gentile recently recommended SUP. Just wondering what you make of it and its recent weakness, and how long it might take to see the very significant upside he sees. It’s been declining while the price of bullion has risen.
Also curious what you think about ANX and if you’d have any qualms holding after the dramatic dip it took last week. Thanks for your thoughts.
Q: Hamilton ETF's, who have a focus on the Financial Sector, have an Australian Bank ETF. Do you think one needs additional exposure to this area, assuming one already has some exposure to CDN and US banks?
Q: Hi,
Is it too late or is there still room to play the lumber industry?
Which of the 3 companies would be the best play for the remaining innings.
Please rank by upside.
Best Regards,
Ed
Q: Have held this thru BFT since last november and didnt get the expected pop when it went public, what do you think of this company in regards to management ,growth and fundamentals would it be a B S or HOLD Thanks
Q: As a Fortuna investor I was disappointed in the Roxgold takeover offer. I try and avoid the geographical areas Roxgold is in and also want FVI for a silver play. I see no advantage to the takeover from FVI's perspective and it looks like the market agrees. What do you think about this offer and merger with Roxgold? Does it make sense to you?
Q: I am one that is not very fond of Bonds and with their present performance I have decided to sell ETF XBB .
What would be a best ETF as an alternative to XBB in a RRIF account over a five year time frame?
Q: I realize that you do not have a crystal ball however my concern is over the Covid Variants especially the ones in India. There is a suggestion that some of the variants may block the effectiveness of the vaccines. If this becomes a huge issue, I am thinking that the market could be in for another rout. I wonder if sitting in cash is the prudent thing to do and just wait out the current virus situation. The market has gone up allot and I would rather give up a small potential gain over time vs a large drop in a much shorter period of time. Your thoughts?
Q: Peter; Going back to Peter Lynch - everybody has a dog or cat now due to Covid- any way to play this - apparently out here (Vancouver) there are animals dying due to not enough vets. Maybe somebody should do a WELL thing and consolidate vet clinics. Thanks. Rod
