Q: I am currently holding Air Boss of America at a loss. Considering selling and using proceeds to purchase Auto Canada. Is this advisable or are there other investments in consumer cyclical other than AW.UN, CGX, XTC that you would prefer. Thanks.

Q: Bos has moved up nicely from its 52 week low and is coming close to a golden cross.

I got burned previously on BOS but am not averse to taking another run at.

Would this be a good move or am I better off deploying spare "higher risk" cash into one of your other favourites? I have just added to SHOP, KXS and SIS. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Q: Hi,would you sell Avo or Bos at this time as i'am trying to be more conservative,to ride out Trump for the next six months or more.
Also for say 50-60,000 could you recommend say three etfs or stock with 2-4% dividend that would be fairly safe going forward,as I do not want a GIC at less than 1%. I do realize there is always going to be risks in the Market.

Q: I am wondering if 5i is considering an update of your past report on companies that could be poised for a strong bounce after tax loss selling? Members would likely be very appreciative of a re-ranking of tax loss bounce candidates or new companies that have fallen more recently and could be ready to recover somewhat. A special report on the 10 best candidates for a January bounce or something like that. Might that be possible?

Q: Airboss announced early Nov. 28 an NCIB for up to 10% of the public float, to start Nov. 30, 2016 and run for a year. Do you think this might put a floor under the price, which seems has bounced off the 52-week low in the last couple of days. Would you consider this an opportunity to step into this name in a modest way or do you think there might still be additional tax loss selling over the next couple of week?

Q: Having just lost a pile of dough on Cipher (moved on as suggested) And having averaged down my cost on BOS a month ago, I am now down 48 per cent on BOS. I can hold for four more years if you think the company has merit. I don't need to sell am sitting on a lot of cash. But I am not mentally prepared for a 75 per cent loss. Do you think it can have a better 2017 or take my loss. Thanks for your sage advice.
