Q: Alaris has dropped over 30% in just 2 months! I am aware of their problems with the medical partner as well as the other 2 smaller hick-ups however their must be more, much more to cause this much panic in the stock. Do you know the rationale?

Q: I will be unable to attend the Money Show on September 16-17, as I have a continuing education course on the 16th (which allows me to make the money to invest so I can belong to a forum like 5i to gain insight on how to invest it more profitably), and my son's birthday (who is one of the people I am saving and investing for) on the 17th, but I am still very interested in the discussions that Peter Hodson will be facilitating/conducting. Is there any way that 5i could either post video or a transcript of the sessions on the 5i website for interested members? I would venture that I would not be the only member to have an interest in this, should this be possible. Thanks so much!

Q: I am wondering which two from the list above I should add. I am a long term investor who typically buys and holds for 5-10 years or longer (basically until the fundamentals change). I am 40 years old with a 70/30 stocks/bonds split and I hold emerging markets etc. in the recommended amounts. I am just looking to add two high quality names for the long term here to add to my existing equity portion. Thanks.

Q: I owned shares in MRZ on August 19th, 2016 when the company announced a "Rights Offering" with the rights expiring on Sept. 19/16. I sold my MRZ shares on the last week of August. My question is what happens to those rights once the shares are sold?

Q: Hello Gentleman

I presently hold a half position in MG in my cash account. While recognizing it is a good holding, it seems to be rather flat of late. I am considering selling MG and replacing it with BYD.UN.

Q: They report next week, how good are they at beating expectations ?
When stocks miss they go down sometimes 15-20%. When they beat, they go up only 3-5 %, so I am tempting to sell before results going forward, and buy back according to results, good or bad idea ?

Q: Is there a way to capitalize on arbitrage opportunities between US and Canadian stocks of the same company. For example, sh.to was up 2% today but shop.us was up 4%, what are the factors to consider when you buy a us stock and trade it in tsx or vice-versa?Thanks very much.
